He was also the coach that was called to fill out the LI roster. Not Express A, Igloo, Outlaws, TLI, Bluefish, True Blue, etc. Nothing wrong with that buddy.

Let's hope the coach and his ego doesn't result in damage to these kids. We should wish all of the boys a few good weeks of practice and good luck in the games.

Only thing I see is none of the teams have really been outside yet, a lot of indoor practices on semi tight fields. If this tournament is the 1st or 2nd time these boys are outside it could have an effect on the games results. This all sounds much better than keeping things local and beating up teams 15-1, at least this is legit competition. Hope LI sets the tone down there.

If thats the case, shouldnt the LI teams be rooting for eachother ? We represent LI, hopefully all 3 teams will play strong.

Bethesda\WP had a great Championship game last year and the coin fell on Bethesdas side by 2 goals, could go anyway again this year. MD has BLC, Dbacks, Madlax, Hawks, Breakers, Koopers (and Crabs next year). Nobody on LI other than top two can beat any of these teams.

Taz lost to Madlax 8-2 at Summer Exposure last year. And WP beat Taz 14-0 at Lax fest. Except for the game in MD where Taz gave it their all and came close, the WP has dominated every meeting. Madlax will have a tough time with the WP.

One Coach is not nearly enough for any team at this age. It's sad for the parents who signed there boys up thinking they would get more. Promises, Promises. Schwalje has another coach but he is a recent grad. Not what some folks signed up for. O'Reilly has 2 great dedicated assistants.
