Lol Get your facts straight all football scholarships for D1 are full. In college sports there are all kind of scholarships partial and full, especially in the FBS division 1. However, you can ask his coaches at Islip, he is not on scholarship he is a preferred walk-on. Which is a recruited player with no financial package. Lets face it mom can easily afford college with the success of her program/business. He will have the opportunity to work towards a scholarship if he does well. This is common at many div 1 schools in many sports. Many Lacrosse players go to schools essentially as preferred walk-ons and either work towards some scholarship or their family can easily afford school.

The 2019 Girls are a great team, well disciplined and well coached. The 1 st & 2nd 2018 Blue team would rock the 2019 girls. Stay focused people. You have a couple of years till the U15.

2019 blue is probably the worst YJ top team in some time. They have descent players but do not have the dominant 3-4 players that most YJ teams have. Top that off with bad coaching and the FAF plan if you are from the correct town.If that team had a new coach come in with no political agenda it would look very different and be a good team. The only thing that team has going for it is the TG team at that age is even worse.I know some of the parents on that YJ team who also say the parents are a nightmare. complaining all the time and think that their kid is a special player.

The question you all should be asking yourselves is why are you in a program where our younger teams have to play games against your older age groups from the same organization? Wouldn't your daughters be better off playing against other clubs in their own age group? Maybe CR should stop lining her pockets and enter her club into tournaments where she can't double dip ?

HOWEVER, when they scrimmage M&D 2020 Black at practice it isn't even close. They can beat M&D 2020 Red, but beating the top team a year older should not happen at that age. As they get closer maybe. M&D 2019 Black did beat M&D 2018 Black last year, but the girls are almost full grown at that age. At 6th and 7th grade there is still too much of a size difference.

That’s where you’re going to be wrong.. by the time the teams fully gel and can really compete, the girls have hit the recruiting age and wins stop meaning anything, most tournaments become showcases, everyone plays equally (or should) so these big show down games (M&D vs. YJ etc. ) never materialize..

Why , when were they proven to be the best? Sorry but if you are being honest and trying to rank teams at this point 2020 black is not even tops on Long Island , lost too many descent players ,while YJ picked up too many descent players. Looking forward to TG black vs Levy new team

Why , when were they proven to be the best? Sorry but if you are being honest and trying to rank teams at this point 2020 black is not even tops on Long Island , lost too many descent players ,while YJ picked up too many descent players. Looking forward to TG black vs Levy new team
Because 2020black is mainly intact. The Levy departure did not take any players other than one. Yes they lost a decent coach. Adding SS as coach was a move trying to keep people from jumping ship, which worked. But it is still a coaching downgrade. All in all they are slightly worse off from a team that has beaten all the others in the age group. We also know YJ has likely gotten slightly stronger. Enough to close the gap? M&D are right there too. Last year black was undefeated, they only game they lost was a couple years ago to MD black. So they are the team to beat.

How are those new players supposed to help the team when they are only on that team as a friend and family member. Then they claim they can beat a 2020 team> Looks like 2021 parents are crazier than our 2020 parents. 2021 is probably the weakest age groups in YJ right now. I saw the gold team play a younger team last summer and it was scary how bad their skills were (couldn't catch or throw).

2021 blue lost to Jones 2020 last summer. Now 2021 can beat curcio? Dream big 2021 blue has added some new girls that with add significant scoring power. The will be real close to Curcio and Will beat Jones. This is either one of the most delusional parents ever, or more than likely, someone just stirring the pot. Unless 2021 added Shannon Gilroy, Curcio wins by at least 10. I agree the conversation is pre-mature at best. However, the 2021 team lost to Jones by 1 last time they played (goalie made a great save as time ran out to prevent a tie) so you should pump the breaks on saying at least a 10 goal spread. Curcio has been a very successful team, best of luck this season!!! YJ 2021 Blue barely beat Elevate 2021 last year in a playoff game. YJ 2021 is NOT that good.

They lost two games all season to 2021 teams and avenged one of those loss by beating the team they lost to during pool play 9-1 in a 20 minute final. Only other loss was by 3 to M&D Black. Last year they played almost equal playing time for all of the girls (was great to see the focus on development). If they focus more on winning, they will only be challenged by M&D Black. The Blue team has been and will be just fine. Good luck to all of the YJ teams this summer!!!

Why don't you tell us what team your daughter plays for? Mine plays for YJ 2021 and we don't attack other teams especially in our own club. Keep in mind it is very easy to come on this website and start a controversy by pretending to belong to a certain team or club and then stirring the pot. YJ 2021 will be challenged in their own age group and certainly don't need to worry about any other team but their own. If you do happen to be from YJ 2021 please refrain from drawing attention to our daughters it will always get twisted.
