It’s not a 2021 ranking. It’s the club as a whole. The nationals don’t help much as there’s no competition there and part of their formula is who you beat. SW struggles at younger ages as they build their teams. Results of younger teams brings their ranking down. M&D and YJ are typically strong too to bottom. Not sure how Steps is ahead of them however.

Anyone and everyone who has been involved in girl's/women's lacrosse for the last decade knows that M&D and YJ rule the landscape. You can debate which club is 1 and 2 all day, but there is no way any other club is even in the conversation for 1-2. Skywalkers, Hero's, Top Guns are all also are ahead of STEPS, and you can debate the order for 3-5 all day as well. Not even sure STEPS is to be considered in top 10. I have seen dozens of attempts of various rankings of club teams from "internet site sources", many of them highly ranking clubs you never even heard of.
The rankings applied and disclosed objective criteria. So they are accurate for the stated purpose. Sorry it bursted your snowflake bubble of false security.
Come on. Steps typically never plays in the top division at any of the summer tournaments. While M&D, YJ and SW spend the summers beating up on each other, Steps is in a division with TLC, Top Guns, MD United, etc.
There are 2 major championship tournaments in the summer, Lax for the Cure and the Mid-Atlantic Championships.
M&D won 7 divisions between the 2 tournaments
YJ won 2
Monster 2
Steps 1
Heros 1
HOCO 1
