Yes. 91 only played about half of their 27 kids. Kid with igloo helmet never left field. Not sure how that is fair for kids actually on the team more than a few days. 91 is a joke.
4th grade and let’s win at all costs and not care about the kids that don’t play. I get it and playing does not have to be even and people do want to win, I do. But no excuse not to get a kid a shift or two. Today’s coaches in youth sports don’t understand that confidence comes from playing time and they really can make a positive impact with little impact. And parents sacrifice so much in time and money, only to watch their kid be a good teammate. Speaking from experience, your son will be so much happier and a better player in HS, if you find a team that he plays on. Playing time, in meaningful minutes, is so critical to player development.
