Don’t kid yourself. Plenty of holdbacks in LI over the years. Just not as profound as in MD and other areas because of the stronger academic public schools on LI
No there's not. A handful yes, in a few private schools, but other than that - 95% on age. NY is the reason the rest of the country has to holdback. Fact.
