Haha. That triplet joke is actually funny. After chucks braveheart loss they never lost another game all fall. We will find out soon enought. 91 beat chucks as well so I guess they are number 2

Igloo is #2 right now. Express East and S2S have both beaten 91 and Chucks so I’d put them next in the rankings. After it’s a big drop off.

I think we have versed this a couple 100 times. The Rebels and Igloo will fall apart in the next year or so. 91 and Express will take over, if not immediately following this season, no question by HS. We need to stop with this pro-rebels and igloo chatter, your better players will leave and there is nothing your bench-warming son can do about it. S2S and Exp East are B teams. Again, better players will leave after this season.

There is no way any kids are leaving Igloo’s Winter Soldier team. Actually, the opposite, kids are trying to get on the team. The team has an amazing coaching staff and parents are very appreciative of the environment.

Yes, years past kids ran from every club to 91 and Express. The days of everyone running to 91 and Express are over. Igloo has top competitive teams at the 2029, 2030, 2031, and the 2032’s. The organization has invested in coaches that focus on player development and it's working. The tides have shifted and the results over the next couple of years will show it.

Maybe other clubs, like 91 and Express should spend more time working on player development instead of waiting for top players to leave their teams. Real good business model - parents who spend their money at these clubs should be furious.

The reality of it all is, 91 and Express detest that Rebels and Igloo have had the top two teams at this age group for years, and they have produced sub-par teams.

Yes, Igloo and Rebels have built strong foundations from 2029 and younger. Both focus on development and not poaching. It works. Just like anything, organizations have a history of being cyclical. In youth and pro sports. Teams that were the top teams 10-15 years ago, arent anymore. Tournaments that were the top 10-15 years ago, arent. Showcases that were the top 10-15 years ago, arent. Its why competition is good for all. It forces all organizations to be better, to sink or swim, leading to a better product for all.

No dog in this fight but for now not all roads lead to 2031 Express or 91. Their current 2031 LI programs are mediocre at best who poached benchwarmers from other programs over the last 2 years.
And, your info is outdated too. The defense coach you’re talking about hasn’t been on the sidelines since last summer. There’s new coaching and talking bad about the coaching lacks class.

As a parent of a kid on one of the 2 teams mentioned I partially agree with what your saying.

But let’s stop acting igloo or rebels really care about developing your kid. They want to win because it’s good for business. That’s it. If they can bring other kids in to help them win they will cut your kid in a second.

People saying 91 and express are done is just silly. Their track record speaks for itself. And to be honest all of 91s teams are really good except this age. But they have already improved a lot since last year. And I’m sure they are working very hard to improve it. Again…..I’m not a 91 or express parent.

I think if 91 or express start beating those 2 teams on a consistent basis, you will see a lot of good players jump ship. Right now no one wil leave because both those teams aren’t dominating.

1. Igloo coaches lack class—not all parents jive with such.
2.S2S beat up on Express East last yr towards the end.
3. Twins were not on field during the braveheart…maybe 1 but IDT so.
4. 91 has put out recruitment calls out for next—the reboot the parents are dreaming about.
5. Express Chucks v S2S Sunday at Chaminade 2:45 looks to be gd early season game.
6. Did S2S play next level recently?
7. Lacking class prevents parents from going to….as well.

You are correct. The guy who verbally berated his son and other kids is now gone. But from what I have heard his replacement might be worse.

91 is so classy, making calls for next year. The 91 reign is over.

What’s wrong with that ? Happens all the time. Last I heard these kids weren’t under contract. I don’t think tampering rules apply to 5th grade travel lax. And when they offer top kids free tuition it may be tough for some parents to say no.

Don’t count 91 out. Things will change fast in this group.

The 31 team has the same problem as the 29’s. They’ll both be looking outside of Long Island to fill the roster by 9th grade.

Armada over Chucks 9-7: almost got into @ChillLaxin time. A nice scrimmage then practice for both teams. New Armada FO kid dominated the X.

Have to admit this is hillarious to read! Bunch of losers breaking down 5th grade lacrosse and the drama associated with it! I bet everyone of you boneheads have kids that can’t play a lick…..

Any holdbacks in this year? Easier repeating fifth than 8th… heard a few 2028 boys repeating.

The circuit is age verified for 31s. You can 1 special kid for 30s, and 2 special kids for 29s. 31s all look on point size wise.

What about legacy blue devils and Jesters black.. has anyone played them?

Pretty sure you can’t hold yourself back in 5th grade. The only way you can do it is to repeat 8th grade at a private school. Or start kindergarten late

Legacy is a b team. Jesters are probably a c team at best.

Blue devils FO is on point—top notch. Kudos to his development over the past year. I think the team consists of 4 middies including the FOGO. There’s not enough athletic kids to go around.

I don’t think express /91 will get the kids they seek. The other programs invested, developed, created a winning culture that the kids are apart of. Why would they be apart of the “reboot?” They have friendships and relationships with organizations for years now. Those other teams left the back door open and now they are out of luck!

Winning is a quality of its own!

These two fill out the lowest tier on LI, good spot for kids just starting travel lacrosse

If the fogo for Legacy is that good I would expect 91 to poach soon enough. all roads lead to 91/express. rest are B teams

Rebels igloo and towermen scrimmaging today. Good seeing competitive teams set this stuff up. Great for the kids. Results don’t matter, game play against good comp does.

On LI, Rebels and Igloo. Only true A teams. Maybe S2S.
