Clarifying week for the playoff picture:
Crabs v Team Money: Crabs win this, go to 4-0, Money drops to 0-3. Team Money scored more goals than expected vs Hawks so we'll see if they can do the same to Crabs.
Hawks v Team 91: Hawks take this, join Crabs at top at 4-0. Team 91 drops to 1-3.
Now it gets interesting:
DCE vs FCA: FCA likely edges DCE here, goes to 3-1, DCE drops to 1-3.
NL vs ML: Ahhhh, too close to call for me. It seems like a different NL team shows up every week. I think NL takes it in a close one and goes to 2-2, ML drops to 0-3.
Standings (remaining games)
Top two playoff spots locked up:
Crabs 4-0 (DCE, FCA, Hawks)
Hawks 4-0 (ML, NL, Crabs)
Crabs still have some tough games left to play. Hawks likely edge them for the #1 seed. Hawks v Crabs on final day of the season is likely a championship preview.
Middle Tier:
FCA 3-1 (Team 91, Crabs, Team Money)
NL 2-2 (Team Money, Team 91, Hawks)
FCA set up nicely, could grab the #2 seed. NL v ML is must win for NL, if they drop to 1-3 this weekend most realistic W/L will be 3-4 and out of the playoffs.

DCE 1-3 (Crabs, Team Money, Madlax)
Team 91 1-3 (FCA, Madlax, NL)
Madlax 0-3 (Team Money, Hawks, Team 91, DCE)
Team Money (Madlax, NL, DCE, FCA)
It gets pretty interesting down here. A DCE loss to FCA this weekend would effectively knock them out and they'd likely finish 3-4. Cage match versus Madlax on the last day of the season, regardless of records that one should be intense. If DCE wins vs FCA this weekend, 4-3 and a playoff spot are still on the table.
Team 91 and Team Money have pretty brutal games remaining and can likely only play spoiler for the rest of the season. I haven't seen Money play but 91 isn't bad, but there's no room for error in Elite and they've paid the price for not having enough depth.
If Madlax can pull the upset versus NL this weekend they'll be at 1-2 with winnable games versus Money and 91. Madlax vs DCE on last day of the season could potentially be two 3-3 teams battling for the last playoff spot. FCA 13 ——DCE 6 Crabs 19 ——— Team Money 2 Both teams have more talent than I think they are being given credit for, defense and goalies not allowing double digit scores, attack scoring.

The worst FO team in the MIAA - Loyola Dons. My 12 year old was yelling double pole half way through the first quarter. The Dons wait until 3 mins in the 4th qtr to implement that strategy and score of it. #coaching I thought the old coach was the problem? The worst FO team in the MIAA - Loyola Dons. Last I checked the HC is responsible for recruiting and player development. First two positions to fill: keeper and FOGO. St. P’s getting it done today.

Typical MSJ, not competitive in a game they should have been. Watching this for 2 years now and coaching staff has no clue. Players not being held accountable for messing up on the field, no adjustments after halftime, defense spotting other team 10 goals before getting off the bus, goalie is afraid of being hit by the ball. If we can see it from the stands, why can't coaches see it from the sideline. Parents have had it. No adjustments after halfime? MSJ outscored Severn 5-2 in the 2nd half. MSJ changed goalies. Who isn't playing that should be? Lack of clearing and offense possessing the ball/scoring led to way to many transition opportunities for Severn in 1st half. MSJ has been starting games slow. Goalie had 8-9 saves in 1st half, defense just had to defend way too many shots again. 8-9 saves...lol. what game were you watching. maybe 8-9 saves over the past 2 games. Watch the film the defense can’t cover their men and #18 hits but cannot stay with man and looks lost. The goalie is doing the best he can. Coaches must see this seriously make adjustments. Must be the goalie’s parents who blame every loss on anyone but him. They did make adjustments, at your son’s position. And MSJ won the second half because of it. Nice broad stroke they only won 4th quarter with Severn’s 2nd and 3rd line. 2 games in a row scored on 10 times.

YJ doesn't play in the NGLL? Where do they and teams like Aces play in the spring? TG doesn't either Would be much better if all the LI teams played. Maryland has everyone participating. Goes a long way toward readying for the summer tourneys Agree. It is also a shame that there is no B bracket here at this age. In terms of population, this is one of the biggest grades (if not, the biggest) on Long Island. We reached out in Feb and there was only 1 B team participating/ signed up. Disappointed in all the club directors on LI that constantly yap about growing the game and then u get this.. and already giving up on 10/11 year old kids… awful. When we got the teams that were participating Igloo was the only organization with a team in the B bracket. Not associated with them but kudos to giving your girls an opportunity to play. The rest of Long Island… shameful… Think you have 1 or 2 more years max to find the right club.

Many deserving kids on that list and a handful of questionable, to put it nicely.
A few wouldn’t start on any AA team on Long Island They all deserve it, they paid the money. It's best players from the region. Not everyone gets invited and not every deserving kid is able to play. But overall it's top players competing against each other. Completely incorrect!!! Look at some of the names. Good players but not the upper echelon. You must be a parent of one of them. Living through their good player that they think is an all star. Keep paying the tuition to support my son please. Winner of the most arrogant statement on here in a while. And truth be told, if you’re bragging about free tuition for your kid, he isn’t getting it. Just saying. 8th grade, good for the kids but not a big deal. No scholarships will be given out that day but they certainly will be collecting parents money! Yup. 350 bucks to play in one game ! Don’t forget “media day”. Hahahaha The winkletoes are laughing all the way ton the bank

Second only to Manhasset. Woodstick Saturday series is 76-63 GC by far the better team this year. It will be unwatchable lacrosse, both teams are horrible. Thanks Daler mom.

Hall kid may be the most overrated FO kid in the MIAA. His own teammates will tell you the same thing!! Only legitimate FO kid right now in the MiAA is the Severn kid. BL is way too small and will have zero impact in college against bigger stronger competition. Gilman and McD kids are young and will continue to improve but this is a very down year at the Dot in the MIAA. Those two will benefit with no competition after this year.
