2020 TG parents should be banned from all games going forward. They are a complete mess. It is embarrassing being on the sidelines with them. I take off my topgun hat and walk away, stay by myself or with other teams parents and pretend I am not associated with them.

[lacrosse], they won 16s& 17s 2017 watered-down grad year at Draw. M&D's, Skywalkers', Heros' and Capital's top 2017 teams all at Champions Cup. This is the big recruiting summer for the 2017's and all the coaches were at Champions Cup.

I hear this year she is going to play down at your pathetic TG tournament so you can win that one where you got spanked by Suffolk all-stars last year. the good news for TG is that one kid is amazing and probably the best player on Long Island but don't cheapen her accomplishment by claiming a 2016 national championship , with out her have you ever won anything?

In 5 short years TG has gotten good enough to compete in the older ages and the younger teams are starting to knock off some of the YJ age groups. YJ is not as Elite any more just a fact get used to it!

losing 3-2 in the last 30 seconds is not getting spanked the "3rd team" is a nice team that deserved the win. Not advancing out of pool is a product of goal differential. similar to TG purple advancing over YJ 2. Does that make the purple team better than YJ 2 ? Don't know never played. Besides Think the black and blue match up at summer classic was pretty lopsided in favor of TG. OH I Know blue was missing players. Stop the madness both are great programs at all age groups

Now you all can see why BS and CR look to avoid playing each others clubs, its not fear of losing, its them trying to take away an oppurtunity for the parents to embarrass themselves. Not sure which thread is more ridiculous, TG or YJ.

I ask my daughter if she had a fun weekend and she did. maybe we should refocus on that, running around with her friends and having a total girl weekend. happy daughter goes a lot further than a stressed out one. if you don't like your coach there are a lot of teams out there. life is to short and these should be fun times.

Go re-read your YJ thread. Seems like some coaching issues are happening within your club. YJ coaches aren't hung over but they are taken advantage of and manipulated by the older parents especially the F&F ones

If that's the case he gets a pass as he does give a crap about all the teams in the club not just his own.

The choice was based on some feedback I got as well as proximity of practice fields to my house I do enough running around all week without having to travel more than 1/2 hr..so far its been a great experience for her.. nice coaches that know the game, nice girls on her team and some nice parents to talk to..lacrosse is just a portion of who she is as a person..from what I read on here I suggest you people find a hobby of some sort because you all sound like you're not wrapped too tight!!

Glad that it's working out for you. Same for us. It's been a great experience, so far, and we're with them for the long haul. The YJ vs. TG stuff is a bunch of nonsense. It's for people with too much time on their hands, who need a way to either entertain themselves, or to try to justify wherever they're daughter is playing. Who was hungover, who's manipulated by parents, friends and family, CR, BS...most people writing this crap never played or coached and don't know what they're talking about when it comes to lacrosse. It's too bad the YJ vs. TG fight exists. It would be great if they had a competitive, civil, relationship, being that they're two of the best girls lacrosse programs around.
