Team 91 is going to go from never making the playoffs and really rarely winning a game to challenging for first place. 4 kids held back in 8th grade for lacrosse. Proud moment. If this is somehow shocking for any Team 91 parents, you simply have not been paying attention. Bye bye families who've been paying their way for 4+ years and being promised that "91 develops elite players" and "never cuts our players." You can either hold back, or you can go play for Predators or Sidewinders.

You can either hold back, or you can go play for Predators or Sidewinders. I'll save every parent here $1800 x 5 years of Team 91 fees with the following template "8th grade elite lacrosse placement advice" from MM and co. 1. Yeah unfortunately your son really only projects to maybe a public school or maybe an MIAA-C level. 2. However if you hold him back next year, not only would he easily make MIAA-A rosters, but we'd make a space for him on the 2028 91 team. 3. This is the way everybody does it. You either hold back or you're lying. 4. I know every MIAA Coach and we'll get you a campus tour (!!!!) at Gilman or BL no problem. If you hold back.

Holdbacks from NJ and NY and PA boarding schools on the way to save the team's future.

So who are the good team(s) for the last season of HoCo? Elite Favorites = Crabs, Hawks, Next Level Elite Long Shots = Madlax and Team 91 I'm afraid DCE might be in for a long spring, and I don't know much about FCA or True Chesapeake...

Who is the best player on the Hawks? Most folks believe it's one of the attackmen. You are clueless! Hawks have 3-4 players who are the best players on the east coast if not the country. 2027 division will only be tight if other teams fly in players for top games.

Hey everyone, my son plays for Hawks but I'm tired of hearing how good the attackmen is. My kid is just as good, actually probably better. TBH he's the best player in the country.

Based on the Hawks' results this past fall (without their best attackman), I'd say he's the difference maker. Crabs and Team 10 absolutely owned them.

You know nothing. At least two NY (both Chaminade) and one NH player for Team 91 MD 2024 have college letters in hand. Obviously the MD 91 program is attracting talent from far outside of the MIAA, and these elite players believe - and have seen for themselves - that there is some benefit to them.

TBH, given the archaic roster challenge rules for HoCo (50 mint fresh gold dubloons presented to the official at 11:11am as the 3rd vulture flies over the press box), coaches are fool to not cheat on rosters all the time. If memory serves, it's been a fairly constant issue from A league to Elite in both the 2027 and 2028 age classes. And I admit, watching a line of True players be walked off the field prior to a league semi-final game, with parents screaming across the field at True coaches, is pretty great.
