What will be your excuse next year when your son is in HS trying to compete against JRs and SRs? My son is on age and competes each week in the Elite division. Guess what he never does; complain about playing against older kids. In the end it will just make him better and to be honest the excuse is just that and excuse.

If your elite son son dropped to 2027, he more than likely would have far greater success than at 2026. These kids that are one year or even two year holdbacks have a huge advantage. No matter how you you want to look at it.

The ones complaining the most about the 'holdback' issues in lacrosse are the ones who have sons struggling to get PT. Unfortunately these are the cards the boys have been dealt; so you have two options.....work harder or complain constantly here.

The ones complaining about the "holdback" complainers are the ones that held their kid back to steal PT from "on age" kids. The holdback kids are the ones that should have stayed in their grade and worked harder. Keep complaining about the complainers that have a legit issue.

Hearing from reliable sources that MadLax brought in non-rostered players for their game against Hawks. Sounds par for the course for that shady club and their history. The team this summer won't even be recognizable. Just watch. This is their pattern.

We all have ti make choices in life. We have just decided that teaching our kid to cheat the system wasn’t right.

The Big lefty at Maryland was not a holdback at BL....He was on age at BL.... He is 24 now .....Normal College senior is usually 22~23... He is 24 because of Covid year and redshirt status as a Freshman..... Don't spread lies bro

Sorry holdback dad, 22 is on age graduation age, 23 holdback, 24 Double holdback, and 25 LOL...... Lefty is a BL holdback, Syracuse Redshirt , Extra year due to covid , Three years older than a normal on age senior... Rob Pannell was similar age at college but without extra covid year. Not like that many top players are on age. But lets say what it is. Frankly you are not very smart at this time if you dont hold your son back to play in D1 lacrosse.

That’s great and I applaud your decision. We made the same one. But what sense does it make constantly complaining about others who made a different choice. At some point you have to move on.

Let's stop that non-sense of trolling and posting rumors. We have watched Madlax play prior to our game and they didn't have any kids come in just to play us. Same kids the week before are the same kids that played us on Saturday

Agree, just because some don't play week to week doesn't mean they are not rostered. The team is pretty much the same with a few that have been out or come in for the special games. The ML way! Let's be honest didn't help much as you can see from the score and you keep #5 from the goal and you are home free. They have as someone else posted previously incorporated an LSM in the offense.
