Yep. Looneys finished ahead of FCA last year, having beaten them 7-4. Both finished 1-6, but Looneys owns the break. NL lost every game last year. With a goal differential of -31 over 7 games! Yet when HoCo decides to go from 10 to 8 teams this year (for the "integrity " of the elite division, per the HoCo commish), FCA and Looneys are out and NL stays elite...huh? When FCA and Looneys make a big enough stink, HoCo makes a it a play-in tourney with only a few days notice while many schools are on Spring break and everyone had the season beginning on their calendar the following weekend. Nice. Then, FCA ends up getting a bye when Top Caliber nopes out. So they watched Looneys beat NL while stretching out and then, after losing for 3/4's of the game (as usual - the last time FCA neat Looneys), Looneys Faded at the end in 4th Q and OT. But still better by a longshot that FCAAAA on any other day. HoCo stinks. Terrible with no integrity. Looneys crushed VLC in Fall and we have always crushed 91. Summer Tourneys will show it[/quote

Yes, it is a valid question whether VLC belongs in elite, and the same question can be asked about MadLax. They went 1-2 in Delaware a week ago; they bailed on spring bloom; lost multiple starters to VLC and TRW; their offense is no better than VLC, and no better than True. And why is 91 anywhere near elite? Last spring they were crushed by a combined 23-7 by VLC (who scored 10 goals on them) and MadLax (who scored 13 goals), two teams with weak offenses. Looneys has a right to be annoyed - other than Crabs and Hawks, most of the next 8-10 teams could beat each other on any given day.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching the Hawks vs Crabs game yesterday. MIAA Talent all over the field on both teams and on both sides of the ball. It is going to be fun watching these kids developed this year and during their HS careers. What is amazing is watching the friendships that have formed on the field between these two teams; if only the parents could follow their example.

Watch out for 91

Thoroughly enjoyed watching the Hawks vs Crabs game yesterday. MIAA Talent all over the field on both teams and on both sides of the ball. It is going to be fun watching these kids developed this year and during their HS careers. What is amazing is watching the friendships that have formed on the field between these two teams; if only the parents could follow their example.

This year is different. Huge upgrades and the best goalie in HoCo.

Maybe you should put your kid in rec so they get their participation trophy that you can hold up and say "see, we're smart enough, we're good looking enough, and gosh darn it we earned it!"

Sure......FOs were an issue for Crabs. I am sure these 3 teams will be beating up each other for the next 4 years Should be fun to watch. Be humble hawks dad.

Both teams had players hurt lets not use those excuses. Next you'll say the wind was a factor. Face it LI was a much better team

I have been impressed with a lot of the 2026 goalies in HoCo. DCE, VLC, Hawks, and Looneys all have goalies who could be described as the "best in HoCo." Last year Team 91 had a goalie who was small and extremely good. Not sure if you are referring to him, or to somebody new, but anybody in the discussion for best in the 2026 class is a darn good goalie.

Crabs parents, how can you allow the coach to speak to the kids that way? Guy crosses the line

The new FO kid was owned in both express and Hawks games. He may have won 2 FO all day against those teams. The other FO kid held his own. He was at least 50% and probably should have been utilized more in the hawks game.

He was the only one who was obnoxious. The rest of the Crabs parents were great

I had a great time talking with Crab parents. It was a great day of lacrosse. The next 4 years qill be cool to see these kid at STM, BL, Spalding, Loyola, Gilman and McD

I think this would go for most club teams; there is always 1 or 2 parents right?
