What new players (that are good) do you think your getting, and don't be too sure your strong players are returning.

Every single kid returned and true blue picked up some great additions.

Today was 1st tryout date. Just because a kid is at tryouts doesn't mean he will be offered or accept a spot on the team. I know for a fact 3 starters from this year's team are testing the waters at other tryouts.

What new players (that are good) do you think your getting, and don't be too sure your strong players are returning.

Think people will be very surprised. Our coaches have attracted some great talent to what we already have

Same story every year. Yawn. If every player came back how do you have room for new players?

Saw some helmets of other teams today, and a few of them looked like it will help us significantly. Don't forget... Igloo, Express, and 91 place kids on on their second team to make them work harder for next year's tryouts. There is no shame in playing on a second team for the good of the child to develop, not the parent. All kids hit their A game at different ages. We're going to be really good with several solid additions who know how to play the game. What team is your son on, if you're not [lacrosse] enough to tell?

Don't recall stating that my kid didn't get play time, was stating a truth about the organization, sorry your too much of a jackass to understand that, as far as all star team, that's hilarious, they can't buy a victory at any credible tournament. The constantly changing roster is proof of their failed system

Not surprising. Everyone wants to play for a AAA team & a top notch organization. Just look at their past accomplishments & all the success they have achieved.

at least warrior was able to sell some more shty helmets, gloves and warps at $695 per player

Why is that always the response to things like this?

He's right. It's a joke. Only LI was invested in it because 91 ran it. MD didn't even field teams in most ages and the 2021 team is half 2022 kids because they didn't have enough for either age to have 2 teams.

As a parent whose kid participated in WAA Games, I thought it was a really awesome experience. The kids got more than what we paid for and the opportunity to play with kids they usually play against. It was amazing to see the mutual respect they had for each other as players and how well they just meshed with each other for the love of the game. I for one have no regrets.

Duke's is trying to recruit AA players from Long Island to come join their "national team". Why would any player in their right mind leave their Club team to go drive hours to practice once a month to be on a team that couldn't beat their local long island club team? Business model makes no sense. These guys are bozos.

Im sure all the parents enjoyed it, I mean for $695 you can call your son an all American. With that said, it was billed as 14 regional teams competing and fell well short in every division. Enjoy the gear.

If Dukes Nationals is such a great program and is a "national" all star team, why don't they have any teams older than 2022? And don't fool yourself, DN is full of Daddyball. I sure hope kids don't leave their club teams and try to play for DN full time. They will be struggling to find a spot on a HS team when their time at DN ends in 8th grade. but at least their parents like the Dbag who made the comment about " a town participation trophy" can keep living vicariously through their kid' middle school years.

For an event in its first year, I have to say it was awesome. The team was great and the kids had a blast getting to know each other. They lost one game, oh well. They're not crying over it. The experience was incredible! The coaches could have very easily sat half of the team in the championship and went for the win, but they didn't. They kept playing everyone evenly so that the kids enjoyed the experience. Well done. Warrior did a great job, Dynamic did a great job, and UMass was the perfect facility to host! Regardless of the cost, my son enjoyed himself and my other kids had a great time and that makes it money well spent. There are plenty of money grab experiences out there, this was definitely not one.

If you're knocking it, obviously you weren't there. Parents and kids all enjoyed the experience. Get your kid on the wall and have him try out next year. It was well worth it. Maybe you should eat 3 less doughnuts a day and save that money. You'll be able to afford to give home a lifetime memory.

As a parent? Doubt you are a parent Why delete the negative part of this thread before posting then ?

If you are a parent to bad your son isn't allowed to play pickup games. 50-100 dollars your son can get the above mentioned experience. He won't be called an All Star though. The organization won't be able to get their cut.

Sorry sour grapes. You neglected to mention that LI beat midatltantice the day before. Same kids. Same tourney. Mid Atlantic had a good game plan and the kids played hard. That is life. And you know nothing about any of those boys, so stop acting like you do. Hope you didn't hit too much traffic on your ride home

Business model makes no sense. These guys are bozos.

You forgot to mention parents spending 100s of $$ and investing their personal time to take their optimistic youngster to a tournament only to have kids not on their coveted depth chart mysteriously show up and take away your kids play time, regardless of your kids skill level. If you check out the Philly forums you will quickly get the real deal on this " national" all star team

at least warrior was able to sell some more shty helmets, gloves and warps at $695 per player

Another team your kid didn't make. Sour grapes.

Sorry guy, you're not getting those boys together for a $50 pickup game. The whole experience was something my kid will remember. Your $50 will get your [lacrosse] pal team scrimmaging a 3rd grade team in your local park.

This is a second team ... not in place of your travel team. They are very aware that players have there committed travel team.
This is not a team- just ranked players from camp coming together to play "B" tournaments. If they played in "A" tournaments they wouldn't have a roster .

The jealousy on this forum is rediculous. My son did not try out for Waarrior but tried out for Brine and did not make it. I chalked it up to a life experience and we moved on. He learned that if you want something bad enough you have to work hard. I would not speak bad of either and knock those that made the teams. We hoped his friends won the tournaments. Listening to some of you on here it really blows my mind. No wonder your kids act the way they do. It's time to start acting like a grown up.
