Except they're all "age appropriate" for that one tournament. You should really be complaining about all the LI Express North kids on that team who got run at the expense of PT kids - oh wait ... Igloo did that too. Never mind.

How about the half a dozen igloo 2021 black ice players?

Do you mean the two Black Ice and two Avalanche and one Igloo B player? What do you think "oh wait ... Igloo did that too" means. Good reading comprehension you troll.

And people love to bash Igloo for using the age appropriate kids from their 2021 teams BUT at least those kids are from the organization! They didnt cherry pick kids from other organizations

Okay, both of you clowns are right. Primetime and Igloo were wrong for depriving the 2022 team members of the opportunity and rather filling the roster with players from other teams and clubs.

All will be decided at the Millon championship this weekend. Prime Time is riding their momentum, Express has a pretty good record from early this summer and Igloo, T9-1, Legacy, and Outlaws have something to prove.

hawks have 14-15 year old kids on the team..most of these boys in 2022 are just turning 13...Hawks should win it with these kids that should be going into 9th and 10th grade but parents see nothing wrong with it because its the norm in MD and MA and Canada

so what are you saying, there isnt any age grade appropriate 6 footers? Wrong, I saw at least one!

Way to get overly particular in defense of the indefensible. Why don't you, or anyone else for that matter, explain why grade based is actually a better way to organize this sport at the youth level? In the past, when the madness reached its peak, with recruiting going on at the earlier years - maybe it could have been explained or rationalized. But, now there is simply no recruiting happening in any meaningful way (and by that I mean even seriously watching players) prior to at least kids being in HS for a year. So if you make 9G the first year that you compete against your "graduating class" rather than your age group that would seemingly make sense. Let 13 year old kids play against 13 year old kids and once they become 9g they can be the class of 2022. Seems to make sense. Doesn't fix the hold back, re-class, pre-first type thing entirely, but once you reach HS you are playing kids older than you are anyway. Why should a kid have to endure it as a youth while they are just learning the game?

Well said and makes complete sense.

wish it were true. But Saw UNC and MD looking at 2021 at a tournament this past week. there are not even in HS (although some looked and sounded as if they were going to be sophomores) and were bigger then 2020's and some 2019/18's. cant even make this stuff up.

dont take your foot off the pedal, you will be passed by if you do

Only 4 kids born before 9/1/03. Only 1 kid born before 5/1/03. Hardly "stacked" with holdbacks.

That is 5 older kids. Can make a big difference. Also, how many born Sept, Oct, Nov 2003. Probably a bunch. Team probably has 8-10 kids who would be 2021 in NY. Basically half a team.

So I take it those 5 holdbacks are their most dominant players and get the majority of playing time at their positions? So 5 out of 10 on the field at one time, no that isn't stacked.

You would be correct. Without those 4 kids they are an average team. Maybe the big kid should learn to use his left hand instead of just trying to bull dodge through kids that are actually supposed to be going into 8th grade that he outweighs by 50 lbs

Neither of the big kids you might be talking about are one of the 4 born before 9/1. Try again for another excuse.

It is True.. The end of watching 2021 is here.. Only a few leftovers of coaches are wacthing this summer...VERY LITTLE....and soon it will be none watching..

So that excuse for grade based holdbacks is out... They cant even approach the kid for 2 more full seasons of lacrosse...

Remember the big need was to watch 8th graders because they needed to give them a offer in 9th grade..well its 11th grade now,,so with old logic 10th grade will be the huge year..but I bet some will be watching 9th going into 10th in summer too with 10th the Big year....8th No one will watch..Sorry apologists ..

Although they have not won a Ship 91 has had a pretty solid summer - Lost in the Ship to the Hawks at NLF, Lost to Express in 2 Championships in a row - Laxfest and Tri Star and Lost to Express at WSYL when they ran into a buzz saw at the X. Along the way the beat some pretty good teams including PT with their older kids, BLC and 91 MD. 20 and 4 this summer.

4 total born before 9/1. 1 of them before 5/1. Only 4 holdbacks. 3 summer birthdays and 1 repeat.

Calling out a kid about not using his left when then kids is actually "of age" and is just playing his heart out to do the best he can...really? You are a coward coming on here anonymously and calling kids out that you have no idea of the facts. So sad that your jealousy brings you to the point of calling out a legit 13 year old that just so happens to be tall. Don't you know think that kids hit growth spurts at various ages, actually, I would't expect that from someone that flaps off at the mouth without merit. Put your name out here coward and then see how much of a big talker you are...you are just trying to strike up conflict but can't back it!

This could be very positive Hockey football all get it right but lacrosse still doesn't get it
