Should be a fun couple days of training and play at NLF showcase. Good for some of the boys to get a chance to mix it up with other players that they have competed against this year and socialize in a different setting.

So I see Outlaws select didn't do to well this weekend at NXT. Going 2-1-2 in this tournament is weak. Congrats to United for taking the ship though!!

You really have to stop with the Outlaw ripping. They are a solid team who are a few players away from being a contender.

United vs express this Saturday at SBU. Express has been the best team this summer but United has won 3 tournaments in a row. Should be a great game. Vegas has it at a pickem.

Not a great way to teach game? Why not? Get older kids to just run by younger kids teaches a lot! Learning to run plays , cut and shoot w room isn't teaching ?

Watch a HS or College game and see what they run.

I couldn't agree more. It's a sport we love, kids we love. Somehow, some of the parents on the sideline lose sight of this and it spills into this forum.

That said, two issues are the hot button topics that should be addressed. Holdbacks and guest players have to stop.

If teams held themselves accountable to these two standards, I bet a lot of the snide bickering on this board would greatly diminish.

Let the boys play. Root for the opposing teams players when you see a great play made. It's common good sportsmanship.

There has been a lot of great games this year. Everyone beating everyone. Good tournaments and bad tournaments for all. The top teams can all beat each other any given weekend! Who cares about a zone or man, or guest players , or hold backs . To each their own. Let the boys go out and compete and play to get better. This age group 2022 is a very impressive group! Exciting games all over. Win or lose the close ones either way teaches way more then the 10-1 games and way more exciting! Good luck to all teams in the NLF and whatever tournaments your team may be playing in!

Good coach will adjust to a zone in a single time out!! Teaching kids to whine about it on Twitter is a lesson as well. Not the kind I would want my kid to learn.

They will NEVER take the next step. They do not change their roster. They will always be a good team but next level will not happen. The only way to get that much better is to recruit some stud players off the other teams!

Schedule is up on Tourney Machine. Not nearly as good a turn out at Super Series. No MD teams at all. Express, United, and Smash get to go at each other again.

If the rumors are true and United and Smash combine, there will be a good number players looking for a new home, can Express carry another 10 kids increasing their roster to 40 something?

If you count special guests they have far surpassed 40

I know 40 is an exaggerated number. Look at their championship photos. They have 27. Alittle too much but not far off. And as far as Smash , United making one team and cutting the rest is crazy. They have two solid teams. Maybe switch a few kids around and they still have two very solid teams. Outlaws are good . Seen them play. Igloo is Igloo. Any other gossip ?

They are forming another A team at the age between the age group.

If you are not teaching how to play a zone or attack then you are behind the game and not up with the game. Its part of it and an effective tool and contributes to the lacrosse iq of both the defenders and attackers. No excuse. invest the time and teach. Perfect counter to the one monster kid that runs through everyone in the early years... a tool in the tool belt.

You are bitter - go away! Your kid got cut or you decided to leave and you are bitter because you regret your decision. Outlaws absolutely improved this year. Played all the top teams well - beat some and hung tough with others. They have already taken the next step. The Roster turned over this year compared to last year. Team already has stud players.

May seem like a lot of work for someone like yourself, but counting to 27 for most is pretty easy!!
