Team LI plays by age, not by grade. Age is the appropriate and fair way to play.
Wait till you crush people go to MD and play crabs and the rest of the MD clubs. they all play by grade but leave their children back a year. So your little crush kid that is age appropriate for his current grade will be playing against kids a year plus older...all of a sudden you will wake up and see the truth.
Once boys hit puberty, that year difference means a lot in terms of strength and speed.
Unless of course, your little crush team is made up of left back boys now...
The "little" Crush team is ranked number one in their age group and will smoke team LI EVERYTIME!! Even playing you up! Sorry you are just not that good!
Crush played the Crabs last weekend in the OC Beach Lax Tournament and beat them in the championship game. I think the score was 10-4 Look Team LI is not a bad team but why would your coach not to take face-offs in a championship game vs crush. Face-offs is part of the game, why should a team just be handed the ball. I can understand doing that in the early rounds but not in the finals.
