Talk Shop about the Big East Conference:
Denver
Georgetown
Marquette
Providence
St. John's
Villanova

Denver is a force to be reckoned with but other than that, I think it's wide open. The Johnnies lost the backbone to their D w/ losing Hanley in Goal but they have a good freshman who has a chance to start right away with other big recruits.

Denver will be the best team in the conference. The rest of the teams are relatively even.

Denver received the #8 rank by the Media Poll by. IL and I agree they are certainly the best team in the Conference but losing Baptise will be a significant loss.

The Big East is wide open for the 2nd place team and anyone who does well in conference and non conference could be 1 of the 8 teams who get AQ besides the 8 conferences who win their conference and get an AQ. Hopefully the Johnnies can pull it of this year.
St Johns proved to go toe to toe with #12 Rutgers. A better 4th quarter helped Rutgers secure their 19-15 win but letting up 19 seems to be an issue for the defense. Did anyone see this game?

That's not bad w/ 4 out of 7 teams and with St John's 18-10 win over Hartford this weekend and their close game to #19 Rutgers who only lost by 1 goal to #12 Army, if the Redstorm can pull off an upset over High Point who is ranked 11, they should be in consideration if not ranked towards to backend of the Top 20.

Nice Call LaxrFanatic. Curious to see where St Johns is ranked after the huge win over #11 High Point.

New Poll just came out. St John's just outside the Top 20 with 'Receiving Vites.' Here are the Big East Teams in the Top 20 as of 2/25

Denver #8
Villanova # 10
Georgetown #
Has anyone seen St Johns play this year? Again, they are going to finish below .500 - something needs to change so they get back on track. Any thoughts?
