It is the start of the 2017/2018 season - let the discussions begin

I'll start. My daughter's club team- Rev Westchester , announced YESTERDAY with no warning that it is shutting down the Westchester teams. Some girls were invited to stay ( mine was) and play on the Massachusetts team.
How bad is that? So many clubs have had their trouts already.
You need to do what is best for your kid. A lot of these clubs come and go and drop teams at the drop of a hat. It seems that anyone that has some some vestige of a lacrosse background is starting their own club. Yes there is money to be made in fielding a club team; however, buyer beware. You need to pick a club that has demonstrated sustainability, player development, and showcasing ability. You are the consumer and you have choices and this next one if your daughter is 2020 and has aspirations of playing in college is important.
Good advice thanks .

She's been on this team for years and Rev has been in business for 15 years . Really we had no indication it would shut down it's Westchester division.
Yes my daughter wants to play in college, stressful weekend over here.
