BOTC will be launching a new color scheme during the next week to reflect our brand colors from our BOTC Logo. The biggest visual change is that BOTC will be going from a white background to a black background.

Readers who would like to preview our new color scheme are now invited to be part of our beta test phase. At the bottom of your BOTC display (scroll down), you have the option to select your color scheme for BOTC. If you select the option "BOTC_Colors", you will be able to test the new scheme for yourself. If you find anything that displays improperly in your environment, please post a message here and let us know.

If you would like to set your own color scheme, you can choose any one of the five options that are available :

• BOTC_Colors,
• Dark_Green,
• Sunny_Dropshadow,
• UBBThreads_Dark, or
• UBBThreads_Stock.

Readers currently using "Default Style" will automatically transition from the current default (Sunny_Dropshadow) to the new default (BOTC_Colors) when officially set for the site.

Since I like to print out all new posts each day on all the threads, this new black background is going to be killer in ink cost.

Two suggestions : You can set your default colors to either the Sunny_Dropshadow or Stock when you want to do your printing as opposed to following the default. You can also e-mail the desired posts as a registered user which will save the printing costs.

IT's okay- the yellow actually hurts my eyes a bit- and I have perfect vision- maybe that is the problem? - but not terrible.

We are working on some of the shading which should make it more "palatable" (sorry for the art pun) before we make it official. Thanks for your thoughts.

Also- your screen name in red- comes out the strongest and your eyes are immediately drawn to the name and not to the post. I am a PIA- no???
