91 tryouts finish today. Igloo, Express, Legacy, Outlaws, Rebels already finished.

Any feedback on talent level at the 91 tryouts? Any chance they will be better this year?

They will get better when they select the actual better kids at tryouts and not just the ones from the 2 towns that the coaches are from (no, I'm not a parent of a kid that was ever cut). They may have missed the boat last year by playing town favorites. But like every other team, they will find a kid or two for their team that wasn't there last year.

Surprised 91 hasn’t released results yet. Pretty sure the teams were made up day one.

Outlaws has tryouts again in August. So not finished yet.

Express now doing supplemental tryouts. Guess Coach C didn't get enough people to buy into the 40-50 man super team. Going to be a shame when some of those kids realize they're actually playing for the B team.

Does it really matter. Express is a warm up act for the real teams

4K what a rip off . How much is 91 in other states . No body gets cost of living wage and raises like lacrosse clubs increase rates. But suckers will pay and take private lessons, box for what ?

They have 4 teams going... basically invited everyone who tried out to one of them based on skill level. 2 teams under Coach C / Haugen, 2 teams under Wieczorek. More of a A, B, C, D. At $4400 a pop including the box lacrosse, that's somewhere around $400 - 500,000 for one age group. $$$$ But people will jump on it.

$1800 for team 91 MD. Most top MD teams are in that ballpark.

I heard it's the top two groups (around 40) are practicing together then splitting up for tourneys then there's a third group complied of Outlaws/Knights kids and B kids from last year.

Ok, just got word my son got cut from his club team. Was told they had too many attackman. Ok. I guess the older you get the less chance for loyalty. I’m not here to dump on any program. Just wondering for those who have gotten the phone call or email that your son didn’t make the team what else is out there? Where do some go? Not looking to spend a fortune. Thank you in advance.

LI Is saturated with teams. It will all depend on where you are and the coaches. Most have finished tryout but Im sure you could contact any of them. In my area (Suff / Nass border) there is Outlaws, Recon, FLG, Viper, True Blue, Rebels ($$$). That's a few off the top of my head. I'm sure there are more

you must be misinformed on 4HHH. They arent very good, infact they are bad. Way to pile 20 on them too, pretty classy. Team 91 LI is pretty good, so that is a good win. It looks like both Express North teams played you pretty well. One I assume is B team, so take that for what its worth.

The 3rd group is Wieczorek's only team. He is not coaching 2 teams unless you count St. Anthony's.

I think the 40+ kids splitting tourneys is a recipe for disaster.

My predictions:
Someone will claim a MD or MA team as the best in the country
Someone else will cry, "HOLDBACK"
Someone else will call that person "Vinny" and claim that all of LI stinks
Then that will play on repeat for the next 10 months

Practices haven't even started yet. Asking for predictions because you're hoping someone will mention your son's team is silly.
A team's lights out FOGO could break his foot riding his skateboard.
Another team's back-up goalie could grow 5 inches, put on 10lbs and work with a trainer.

What I'm saying is, sit back and relax and enjoy what's left of the summer.

The fall tournaments will be here before we know it. Then you all can play the game above as much as you want.

Hawks are 42-0 and we won the NLF tournament we where both at. lxc lost to Eclipse this summer and probably other teams haha.lxc would be lucky to be ranked #4 with all there loses & you tommyknockers stunards wouldnt make top 20.

You sure you got the right year their chief. Crabs wouldn't have come near NLF. They didn't win a game in their own division in Maryland this year from what the parents said.

You lost me on this one! Please explain this to the lacrosse community. We played 2 NLF tournaments, played in our own 2 - thats 4 tournaments we booked. All Hawks teams only play in 4, no more no less. If you go to the website in September all of our tournaments will be listed for next year

Does anyone know of a 2026 Long Island team in need of a goalie?

Most teams will always arrange to look at a goalie. Even if they have one, ideally you want two.
Just email the teams you are interested in or call them, and they will probably arrange for your kid to come down and be evaluated.

I can't imagine a team not taking another goalie on, unless they already have 2 solid, which is extremely rare.

Goalie dad advice from a goalie dad. These people above are all correct. You need to go to the teams websites you are interested in, all of them provide the coaching contacts and send emails to them and you will 100% get a reply. Goalies are a rare breed and you'll have a lot of options as soon as you get your name out you have a goalie looking for a spot you will get a lot of calls.

It is not age specific. It was posted here because the discussion was brought up about the hawks not being at the NLF championship. It was across the board for all age groups though. Any original 6 team can move to have another team not participate. This was the case for this situation.

I am not trying to create an argument. This was done MONTHS before the NLF Championship. I don’t know nor do I care about the Hawks schedule, age or roster. What matters is that the kids get got training and have fun while doing so. I know for a fact that the Hawks were not at the NLF Championship ecause of the above stated reason though.

The hawks were not there because it was in august. Coaches wanted a break to spend time with family. The tournament schedule for hawks comes out in Sept and did not include the championship in mass. If it had, they would have gone.

Seems to me that the older hawks got called out and the only thing you have to say about it is oh no my son got called out for being older. Wait, he had his schedule way in advance. No way could my older sons team be denied because of age discrepancies. FYI- the date of the NLF championship wasn’t out last September. That’s why it wasn’t included in your older sons itinerary. Poor guy. Don’t be depressed. The crabs denied the Hawks. Deal with it.

Here is a fact, the Crabs did not deny the 2026 Hawks or any Hawks team from playing in any tournament associated with the National Lacrosse Federation.
The Crabs organization will not prevent any team from participating in a NLF tournament. Whoever states this is mis-informed and does not have direct knowledge of how the team selection and tournament format works with the National Lacrosse Federation. An invitation was presented to the director of the Hawks organization, and they respectfully declined the invitation as they complete their season with the Naptown Challenge. No Hawks team played after that tournament.

No matter what level of competition, we have always encouraged the best teams to participate.

Teams haven't even begun to practice yet. How would anyone know their childs own team talent? Certainly no one knows if other teams added more skilled kids. That will start to be figured out in October.

Honestly from the thread it appears the hawks started by coming onto a northeast forum and trying to root their own horn. They have no business here. But people should just ignore them. Had a great conversation with mom from Bethesda at NLF , she actually laughed when i told her Hawks parents said they were all 10 or 11 years old, they are probably more like 12 or 13 she said .i would like to see CoachC 2025 team play Hawks , that game would be exact same age ,,and yes i am a long island parent tired of the NLF and all these tournaments allowing older kids to play down. Call them hold backs, call them on grade, its cheating ! Fact - there are 2 hold backs on Hawks. Fact - they added a kid who is bigger then the biggest kid last year. Fact - the giant middie is actually 11 years old as I would not believe it at all until I saw a birth certificate. These kids have been playing together since they were 4 years old. These kids don't get told what plays to run, they run them themselves. I know it is a tough pill to swallow, but there coach has collected the best talent in the AA county area at this age and keeps them. Get used to it because they ain't going anywhere and all the crying you want to spout on about is not going to help YOUR kid.

Fact- Fat loudmouth ,living vicariously through my kid dad will post that they chose not to go to WSYL because they had a long summer season, wanted to have a summer and didn't want to spend $$$ going to Denver. Not because they don't qualify on age.
Fact- My son does get better by playing the Hawks, no matter their age, because they are one of the best "2026" teams.

Laxachusetts dad: Hawks are really good. LI Teams are really good. Tommyknockers are really good and gave us a real battle. Eclipse is really good giving us our one loss of the year.

Laxachussets won the NLF National Championships this year. We don't battle in blogs, we battle on the field. Win or Lose. We aren't going to apologize because The Hawks didn't show up. Congratulate 12 year old kids.

Yes the 58 kids that were to be split into 2 teams. Something that CoachC has been saying to other teams in different grades for years and has never happened. And it wont happen here either.

CoachC will still only play the top 15 kids. The next 15 kids will be lucky if they get on the field for 30 seconds. And the rest will have the honor of watching the others play.
If your lucky CoachC wont be at a tournament. Then the other coaches may put some of you in for a blip of time.

If he's the new coach you can expect what the above poster said as fact. It's what he does. I'm all about winning just like coach C has said but my son sees the field. If my son were not a top 15/16 kid on the team I would definitely move on. The other kids literally see almost none of the field except from the sidelines.

Say what you want about Legacy, they beat Primetime, Eclipse, and can give Lax Black a game. 91 scored 1 goal against them. So yea, go to better tourneys and stop playing Empire for a T-shirt.

Didn't play a round robin style. Express played Igloo twice -- split the 2 games. First was close initially, then "AA or A" Express took control before Igloo started playing catchup. Second game, Igloo dominated Express "A or B" team . Express then went to play 91 afterwards. They won 9-7 (?). There may have been 45 kids on the sidelines for Express... but no 7th graders.

No cheating. But it was the A team. All the kids from Sat scrimmage were there. So how is it that there were at least 30 kids (or more) on the sideline. All the parents that forked over $4k were told their kid made the A team. Coach C wanted to beat Legacy after he saw them ranked higher than Express and made sure some of his top kids (that even play on the 2025 team) were there and getting all the playing time.
Maybe if all the A team (the real A Team) were there you would probably beat Legacy. BUT, the 35-40 kids that payed $4k will not see the field. The Legacy kids, all 20/21 of them, see the field for big minutes and will get better PLAYING. Win (which they did) or loose to the mythical AA Express team, the Legacy kids are PLAYING and getting better while you pay $4k for the privilege of maybe the dream of a championship t-shirt and a great view from the sideline.
Also, the sidelines are so crowded that we had to sit 3 deep because of the 40 kids on the Express team.

That was not LIE's top 2026 team. They had 2 kids from 2025 who are 2026 age but did not have top attack, mid, d and goalies. It was the second group out of the 40 that played yesterday. The Legacy goalie was the difference in the game, he made a number of saves and the post saved him once. Totally anti climactic that they cancelled the championship. Most likely Coach C wanted to rest his 2025's.

I'm not a coach so I don't know why they played. The FOGO and an attackman wreathe players though. The attackman only played in 1 game.

Next week at Blatant Fall Jam, LI Express Haugen is registered in the 2026 B division. Therefore, I hope CoachC doesn't revert to bringing his A players (including his top 2 2026 A players who are that good enough to play up on the 2025 team). I don't care that Express set this age group in a pool training system. That is fine and up to them. However, if you want to bring A players, then play in the A bracket. Teams and tournaments are set up based on talent and skill. Teams pay good money to put their teams in brackets that are best suited for their skill. Don't revert to winning at all costs and taint your organization's reputation and have your top talented players play in a B division tournament. Other registered teams and Blatant tournament officials should be aware and notified if these players play. More importantly, Express "B" Parents... stop drinking the Kool-Aid and demand that if it is a B tournament, then let the B team kids play.

There were a lot of the "A" team kids there. Just ask the 40 sets of parents on the sidelines.

I was at the Saturday scrimmage. 30+ kids stood on the sideline. There was little or no substitution. The fogo kid took every face off. My heart broke for the kids waiting in an endless line going no where. It was a scrimmage after all . 91 26 played them even. It is sad that these parents don’t take their kids somewhere where they will get some playing time. Coach C is shameless. 🤨

They have turnover. Kids who come in thinking they will be first string and realize they barely get playing time. Plus kids who get bumped after being on the team for a while. They eventually leave.

But there is always someone starstruck looking to come in because they see how well Express does. And they think there kid must be as good. And the coach plays on that.

Seems like another organization, new or existing should take advantage of this and scoop up some of their disgruntled talent. Form a TEAM, build chemistry, character and skills and dominate the Island. You see teams like that Tigers team, Laxachusetts and of course the Hawks (didnt want to upset any of those dads) come in and dominate. Is there an age difference, yes. Are there holdbacks in addition, maybe. It drives me nuts listening to parents (from my son's team) complain about teams that beat LI teams saying that they are hold backs, older, or aliens. MAYBE it is because they find talent, build the kids up, retain talent and the kids play like a team. Let's try that.

I was referring to the 3 month difference in the cut off for school. and FYI, I am a LI dad. Do you think if our top teams (Express or 91) could bring bring down the few 2025 kids that were born in Oct-Dec that we would suddenly hang with them? I think not. Express Dad here. Very disgruntled about what is going on with this Express project. They took 40 kids on a supposed mixed Double AA team. The project is to weed out the less skilled kids to make a super team. That is fine there is no doubt but kid is absolutely a double A player and he will play on the "Super Team". This weekend he may have to play in a B division at Blatant. Thats a shame. how does this make him better and prepared to play Legacy who we just lost t. Haugen a nice guy when CoachC is playing him like a puppet on strings. Haugen has said to some parents he is not happy about the way this whole thing is going but won't fight CoachC on it. Shaking my head. This project is trouble and the Legacy , 91 and the Rebels will reap the rewards at next years tryouts.

If your son is "absolutely a double A player" then why would he be pushed to the B division team? My guess is that the other players on the AA team are better than him and that roster is full. Seems that they're trying to form 2 of the best teams that they can? No trying to come off sounding like i'm ridiculing. Just an outsider looking in.
No if your son isn't playing with the B team I would suggest to not wait and look for another team completely.

With the help of a couple of A players. CoachC still puts in some of his better players so he can be sure to win. In this case he needed more than a couple so he lost to Legacy. You cant evaluate the B team unless they are competing on their own without the A players.

Why does he have to play on the B team. I agree with prior poster. If CoachC is making your kid go to Blatant and play in the B division (not even the A division) then he doesnt view your kid as part of his top super team. And if you push to go to the Elite or NALF tournaments, he will let you go. But he wont play your kid. Or very little anyway.

If Express was a “SUPERTEAM”, they would have rolled over 91. They didn’t. You shouldn’t be disgruntled, you should be gone. You have no one to blame but yourself for sticking around.

CoachC only got involved with 2026 this year. I think it's what CoachC wants to create out of the team. But ethically you have to say its wrong to offer kids a place on an "A" team and take their money, with full intention to just discard half of the players during the season. In essence relegating them to a weak B team that needs an influx of A players to compete on the B level. Think about it. What if it was your kid? By the way, it could easily be your kid in another year or sooner. He recruits kids year round.

No. they had 30+ kids on the sideline. Some of their top kids, including their top FOGO, were there. When it was crunch time, the kids from the "AA" team were the only ones on the field, with 20+kids on the sideline and complaining parents on the sideline.
And for the parents who were told their kid is on the AA team, but will be "rotated" back and forth so he can collect another $4K and poach kids from other teams, your kid is on the B team. You got scammed. Coach C wasn't recruiting your kid, he was recruiting $4K.

I am with the guy from a few days ago that said someone should take advantage of this and start a team and build it with the disgruntled kids and keep them together and coach them.

Its a shame to take advantage of kids, who's parents have the ego problem and were conned into going there and leaving their old teams to be on a B team. Good luck with that. Sometimes the grass isn't greener, but the money sure is.

Do you know how many people say that at all age levels. You dont need to start a team. There are plenty of teams out there that have space that could take these kids on an be competitive teams. But people are on CoachC team because they think it will be somehow better for their kid down the line.
The fact is he will cut most of them out by recruiting age. By hen parents expect a lot from the organisation to help their kid get recruited for college. And there is only so many kids he can assist with that.
And many of these parents and kids will be left high and dry without having an established relationship with a coach and team to help with colleges. And they will be a lot poorer in their pocket.

There were more kids than just 2. There are kids that have been told to go to all the tournaments. CoachC is evaluating them to see where they fall out in the mix. Watch. A bunch of them will go to the Elite and NALF tournament but wont get much playing time in the end, because he will have decided they are really the B team. And just there at these tournaments as a 3rd or 4th line. (Which rarely if ever plays)

So who were the other 30 kids on the sideline? So they have 60 kids? So why is Haugen listed as the AA team in TriStar? Take away the FOGO and the score would have been lopsided. The whole second half of the game it was all the AA players. But that's not the point. The point is how 25/30 parents were told their son made the top team, and they are floating, rotating, whatever you want to justify it in your mind, and they are on a B team. And they had to sit and watch as the "AA" players got all the playing time when it was clear that Legacy was going to beat you. Do I think that if all the "AA" players were there that they beat Legacy, probably. But I also know that the 20 kids on Legacy rotate in and get plenty of playing time, develop and get better, win or loose. I don't have to run around and tell everyone my son is on the top Express team, but has to rotate to both teams because he's that good. Face it, he's on the B team and CoachC is running around with your $4K in his pocket.

It honestly is a con and some of these parents should actually sue Express and CoachC, because it's as clear as can be here that he recruited an abnormal number of kids with promises of being on an A team under him when in actuality half at least are on a B team with a different coach. There needs to be some regulation of how these coaches can take advantage of parents and their kids. Wake up and sue his a$$.

Here's an idea. The unhappy families who's kids didn't get any playing time, go down and play on the "developmental" team. Make it a strong competitive B team. Get real playing time and instruction. There are a few kids on that team with real talent. See what it can do. Then maybe next year find a home as a team somewhere else.

No. they had 30+ kids on the sideline. Some of their top kids, including their top FOGO, were there. When it was crunch time, the kids from the "AA" team were the only ones on the field, with 20+kids on the sideline and complaining parents on the sideline.

Someone mentioned it was only 2 players. Were the other 8 sitting down? Or were they being competitive with the supposed AA legacy team? I wasan’ t there. Making my assumptions from these other postings. All I’m saying is that the 2nd team doesn’t sound like a B team. It sounds like a weaker A team. Someone mentioned that 1 of the 2 AA kids only played in the last game. So they easily beat the 2 prior teams they played with 1. What were the other 9 players doing? There were more than the 2. I know others who were there who will also be at the Tristar and November tournaments with the A team.

They had 34 kids there for the last game vs Legacy.

Does it really matter what Express does with these 40 kids? They all train together and the teams are fluid. CoachC can pick who he wants to play where he wants so get over it. They had 100+ kids tryout and field three teams at this age so clearly not hurting for players. If you are in that group and feel misled...stop paying and find a new team. If you are in the group and are unhappy but staying...stop airing your dirty laundry. Kids improve by practicing with these coaches and the top level kids at a high pace. Most of the 40 on the team most likely are a top players in town ball and should get plenty of field time there, if not you're on the wrong team and they are just taking your money.

How many A players do you think is fair? B means B. And two A players were top guys. His face off kid hardly ever loses.

Town teams don't take your money. They aren't even $200 for the season. That basically pays the refs and any maintenance costs.
Yes kids learn from these club coaches, but isn't it best to be put to the test in an actual game environment? From what I'm hearing, they aren't even getting that opportunity. The fees you pay to these clubs in part pay for entrance to tournaments and exposure.
You're not getting that sitting on the sideline. You're just getting an expensive uniform and helmet with some extra reps at practice.

Again, if they're supposed to be rotating players, which is what these parents were told, then fine. But they aren't even doing that. I think people are just speaking to the obvious fraud in this situation. They were sold and bought the snake oil.

People care when he puts A players into a B bracket.

His AA FOGO plays on 3 teams. Without him, every Express team is in a lower league. Even the prodigal 2025 team. Someone figures out how to poach that kid, and Express is in trouble.

Lets break it down for the simple minded:

1. Yes it matters what he does when he is registering teams in both A and B brackets. Other teams register them in brackets based on the teams level of play. And expect to have a fair shot in that bracket. Registering a team you created with your lower level players in the B bracket but plugging in a bunch of A players from your higher level team is cheating. Plain and simple.
2. Why doesnt he play both in the A bracket? That's what he promised these parents, that they were getting an A team. Why? Because he knows he placed kids on the team that were not A players. Lying just to make a buck. Or $4500.
3. I know kids from B teams , and not even high level B teams, who are not even close to A players who got offers for CoachC A team. Some stayed with their original team, because they could tell something didnt smell right. Every kid at that tryout got an offer. For this team that was to be split. Or the lower level team. But not everyone accepts. Some people are not fooled. Or some just tried out to see if they made it.
4. Sure people improve by practicing with high level kids. But kids want to play too. You practice to play. Not to sit around and watch others play.
5. People have a right to voice their complaints wherever they want. So the only person who should be shutting their mouth is you.
6. And if CoachC isn't giving what he promised these people have a right to their money back. Not just being told to stop paying and leave.

Express parent here.... Let me squash the debate... Last weeks tournament did not include the top 3 attackmen, top 3 middies, or top 3 poles. Many of them were in casual clothes on the sideline. Those 9 mentioned above are only playing AA tournaments. Yes the fogo played as he plays at every opportunity. There was a true 2026 who is on the 2025 team who was brought in for the last game. Every other kid on the field was either listed as a B player, or part of the 12 (7 poles / 5 middies) kids who are playing all tournaments in the fall as CoachC figures out how to create the divide for spring amongst them.

Well if half of those become A and half B then the B team would only have 15 kids which is not a team.
Seems like all except one have to stay with B team to have a full team.
Unless CoachC intends to always have A players coming down to play with the B team.

Then clearly the few out of the 12 at the Columbus tourney who may make the A team are considered by CoachC the bottom for the A team. So even if they make it, they wont see any real playing time.

Cograts to Legacy! They won and that seems to be forgotten in all of the Express chatter about how good or bad or wrong the coach was. It's very obvious that hoarding kids will keep those kids away from other clubs that they compete against. This has nothing to do with development or playing time. The club business model has become get very good as early as possible, hoard kids in the middle, and who cares late. By getting good early you get a huge bump in your tryouts. Every lacrosse parent who has no idea wants their child to be on the best team because their kid is the best and THAT CLUB won the MOST LAST YEAR so MY KID needs to play there because they are the best. Presto, 100 kids are at the next tryout, they keep 60, sell a song and then by the time parents realize that they are playing the chimes in the orchestra the kids are in 7th or 8th grade and it's over. The result is mediocre lacrosse all around because quality kids are not playing and not getting better while the 2 or 3 clubs that hoarded players and pray on parents go to the World Series and get to start the cycle all over again. As a Dad that's been through it all I can say is this. Place your son where he will play, have a chance to compete with his team, and you as parents enjoy your surroundings. In the end the club ride can be a blessing, a curse, or nothing at all. Your boys are young kids and soon they will be young men and might choose a different path. Make sure your aspirations don't cloud the fact that they have other interests, other talents, and just might like being your little boys for a few months longer.

Tourney for Blatant jam just says LIE Haugen 2026 in B bracket. Doesnt say Orange or Black.
And appears for Tristar they have both Haugen Orange and Haugen Bkack in AA bracket.
Originally they had Haugen Orange in A bracket and Haugen Black in AA bracket.
Looks like CoachC must be getting some pushback from parents about the Orange team being a B team, so he has moved it into the AA bracket with Black.

It was the Express B team at Blatant. Not sure if that means Orange or Black but I think most teams use Black as their A team. Except 91... Express either didn't use that good FOGO or he really isn't that great.

The FOGO kid is amazing. I saw him last weekend and he won EVERY race off with ease. Not an express parent here. Don’t think you know how good he is until you see him play. He is 26 age group and he is a peanut. Just great, natural technique.

Agreed fall is the pre season it just gives coaches an idea of what there team can and can’t do but in my eyes should always start in the a bracket because you learn more when your playing competitive teams

I agree. 2026 Rush Force was brand new last year and it played in B brackets, and showed promise but defenitely didnt dominate that bracket.
Putting them in A bracket just demoralised a frustrates players if they are not at that level. They would learn more from being at B bracket and isolating their weaknesses in that lower bracket and working up front there.

We’ll see how the LI teams fare against some real competition. Next up, Tigers XXVI, BBL Black and Primetime. I’m guessing they won’t fare too well. Those are 3 of the better teams from this summer. I’m guessing bottom two in Black division.

He has an AA bracket and an A bracket. ( Which is just a sales tactic. The AA bracket is A and the A bracket is really B. Typical car salesman sales methods).
It appears he registered both Haugen orange and Gaugen black (his A team of 40-50 kids he supposedly split into 2 teams) both in the AA bracket.
Except when you look farther in tourney at tristar you will see he breaks down the AA bracket into 2 other brackets. The Black bracket and the Orange bracket.
He has put 6 teams in the Black bracket: haugen Black, BBL Black, Express North, Primetime, 91 Orange Storm, and Tiget XXVI
Then in the Orange bracket: Haugen Orange, S2S, Rush Force, and Outlaws

In put all the weakest teams who are really more B teams in the bracket against Haugen Orange. This way Haugen Orange has no reak competition and doesnt get demolished by teams like Primetime, Tigers, 91, ect...

Sometimes in a tournament if the tournament organizer has a club team, they may get not as difficult a schedule as other teams, or so some people think.
But not that an entire grouping is created inside the AA bracket of the weakest teams, so the organizer's team doesnt have to actually play any of the actual AA teams and yet can say there team is a AA team and played in that bracket.

Dude AA just means A. There is A and then B. Directors and coaches made up this AA term just to sell teams and tournaments. Those parents were told that those kids would be on A teams, all of them. Not on B teams. But that's what he has made. The second team is a B team competing in B brackets (no matter what the tournament wants to call it) against B teams.
They are competing next weekend against, Rush Force, LILC, Rebels, Wieczorek, and Turtles.

The full tuition is $4500 and they have them pay for a significant chunk of that up front.
And CoachC hasn't told them they are on B team. It takes a while for parents to cop on to the reality that they are being suckered.

Parents are too afraid of Coach C to ask for their money back. No one hold him responsible for his actions. He is sensible and very shrewd.

But if you ask for your money back, he will do one of 2 things: give you your money back and wish you luck or put you child on the A team where he will never see the field.

BBL black is the only real competition for Express Haugen . They placed the Tigers, Primetime, and 91 Storm in the other pool in the AA division. CoachC is probably trying to give himself the best opportunity to at least make it to the championship.

That was certainly not a coincidence. No way in heck he wanted to play Tigers in the round robin. Or 91 Storm or Primetime for that matter. Other than BBL Black, who will likely beat them, it was his best chance to make the finals. Maybe the FOGO steals a game for him. In the end, it will be the Tigers and BBL Black in the finals, with the Tigers prevailing.

I agree. It certainly looks like he set up the pools to create the best opportunity for Express Haugen. I'm kind of surprised he didnt switch BBL black with Outlaws though. I guess that would be too brazen and obvious. Lol

I agree, although not about development totally. Game play development yes. But they do get great practice training. Better than almost any other club.

the real question is why are the teams segmented into A and B etc already? kids are 11 and 12 years old, there should be wide variety of development from tryouts until summer circuit. make the kids earn it. that is how MA teams do it and the initial lack of familiarity may be why they may lose early in the summer but never late. only rationale as to why the teams are pre-selected is to lock in the kids. truth to it, is it only lets you lock in the borderline guys and therefore team doesnt develop.

That is completely false. CoachC played his top AA players in both divisions today. Parents of Express kids on the sidelines were complaining it was ridiculous. Teams entered the single A division to play single A teams and be competitive. And parents like myself put their kids on the single A team bc they want them to see the field and play other single A teams. But CoachC was afraid of losing so he cheated. These kids are 11 and this behavior is sad for them to witness.

No one was complaining. That's false unless it was directly to Chan, which I doubt. I did however see 2 kids play from the AA team. Each for about 15 minutes total over the course of 4 games and I don't believe on the field at the same time. I don't think they were necessary. Not sure the reason behind it.

2025 playing on Outlaws today. The cheating in this sport is getting out of control. Coaches and parents should be ashamed of themselves. How does your 7th grader explain to his friends that he plays on a 6th grade team? Do you think that doesn’t effect him in some way? When a kid gets injured by an older player, I hope the parents sue the tourney and win big. Sadly, it is the only way things are going to change.
