Who is coaching 2021 teams ??
Is Legacy starting a girls program?
Why would it be different than the coaches listed on their website?
Lavey 2021 A
Rao 2021 B

Nice that they added Kieran McCardle. Great player. Kids will love hanging with an MLL guy!

Dying? You must live quite a fulfilled life.

That does not change the coaches for the teams. They may add a third 2021 team which most likely will be the HDD and that coach "probably" will stay with that team. Lavey was the A coach and Rao (former Riptide coach that stayed with his team) the B.

Another BOYS program starting a girls program. Unreal! This will go the same way all the others have gone like 91, fl$, Jesters, etc. All the girls are treaded like 2nd class, everything is boys frst, etc. Why doesnt this club just stick to what they do best. BOYS.
I though Legacy was all about having coaches that know lacrosse? I see at least 2 that never played at all
its all about the $$$$$$

Actually, I am concerned because this is a major recruiting year. What recruiting tournaments does this group plan on attending this fall?

Yes, I live a very happily fulfilled life, actually. It's just a figure of speech. Would "anxious to hear about" be ok with you, or would that still mean I have no life? You know what I meant. You're just one of those people that enjoys taking shots at people anonymously.

Are you with Legacy? Do you now this for a fact? If so, maybe 2021 is that simple, but not necessarily some other grades.

Major recruiting year?? They are going in to 8th grade. You people are insane and have lost all perspective. You think your 13 year old knows what they want to pick as a major in college? What type of job they want in future? What type of student they will be in HS.

I have been through this process twice. Both landed in great places. One as rising HR and one as rising SR. Trust me, no one is looking at your 8th grader this year.

Rising freshman have already committed. Wake up, coaches are looking at 8th graders, by next summer offers will begin to be made. Go bury your head in the sand while my son is at the Philly showcase and other important events

Correct me if I am wrong but the original question was who are the coaches for the 2021 teams? If you go on the website it states who the coaches are for the 2021 year. The only question is the HDD team. I stated that the coach from that team "probably" will stay with that team since he is listed as one of the coaches in the flyer from Legacy at the top of this thread. I am sorry that I was the only one to answer your question and rest assured I will not do that again. Oh yeah we did play on the 2021 team and had a great time, Thanks Coach Rao and Coach Whitehouse if your reading. Coaches incase you forgot.....
And the A players will be scattered across all 3

I wouldn't be so sure that you'll have the same coaches as last year. I heard that all teams and coaches for each grade will be looked at as one big group and then get sorted out from scratch

How do you know??
Looks like a very impressive coaching staff. Just wondering who will be coaching the 2018 teams? Would be nice to know, even tho all the coaches seem very capable.
Thanks.

Coaches changed multiple times for Carnage last year. Would be nice to know who is coaching a team that is going into a very important recruiting year.
True that the coaching staff changed around last year for Carnage and I would hope that does not happen again this coming season. Not fair for the kids on any team to have to deal with that, but unfortunately it happened. This is why some people are hesitant to try it again. Unfortunately there is no guarantee of anything these days. Hopefully with the merger between these two teams will only improve the organization and give not the parents but the "KIDS" what they deserve. And hopefully we will get an answer to my question, Who will the 2018 coaches be? simple and direct.

Did you try and email Legacy?

1st was Schiedel, 2nd Travis and Smith, 3rd Nueberger with an occasional appearance from Travis. This was the coaching carousel for the 2018 Carnage.
Does anyone know who's coaching 2022 teams? Are they doing to B teams again or will they do an A and a B?
Well from the looks of this, Our poor kids from HDD are being left out in the cold. "A" team is legacy, "B" team riptide and "C" team HDD. I thought my 2023 guy might at least get to tryout. Then they would take the strongest kids and put on them the "A" team and so on down the line. The Coaches with the most experience would take the "A" team and so on down the line. Thanks for the heads up about the organization.

2018 coaches will be Scheidel/Sullivan- one team only.

How did you determine that?
Thank you for the answer. happy to hear that.
And one team is definite? Or are they going to see what turn out they have?

Well all the coaches listed on the website have been taken down.. Look up any age and the coach listing says TBD. I know that a few coaches have kids on the team and I cant see that changing but as for the others I wonder.. I hope they list the coaches for each age group before the tryouts.. I am really torn between Legacy and 91.. We are not at the age of recruitment but we are getting closer. Have played for both clubs, both have pros and both have cons.. I want to be settled..
Very strong coaching staff. Great they added Kieran McCardle. Great kid

Yes, not a bad list, but would be nice to know who's coaching which teams before tryouts....
I understand, they are working on thy list. Will be out prior to tryouts. I emailed them and that's what they told me.

That would be great. Thanks
Jackass.... they have a quality guy solely responsible for running the girls

And who might that be? And how will they ever come close to YJ? What's the point, they will never attract any talented players. Both Express and 91 have tried and failed!
Jackass. .. do your research before opening your mouth. . People are looking for other options. .. the guy leading Legacy girls knows what he its doing. . He can definitely coach and is hiring young coaches. .. People with degrees that deal with adolescence on a regular basis. .. not just summer lacrosse .. only wish my daughter was young enough to play for him and his organization. .. girls lax needs an alternative that wants to compete at the highest level

Legacy should concentrate on getting it's boys program under control before starting something that will most likely fail. I bet they don't even get enough girls at the tryouts to form a team. Legacy already has problems with their reputation.

What? Legacy is now selling sweaters? Sound like the perfect Christmas gift. Just don't spill any kool aid, on it. The stains don't come out!

I am not sure Legacy has a problem with their reputation; I think those that have been around can see through these comments.

I understood there were some issues I also understand there were some highlights. No need to expound on either just know when speaking about any group know the source of your information.

In fairness, I am a Legacy parent and my son and I were happy this past year and looking forward to future years of the organization getting better.

That was a good one and probably deserved from the comment made (and mis-spelling). Touche'

Maybe you should get your information from the owners/directors of Legacy instead of from a bunch of deluded idiots who know nothing about the club and how they will operate. This would go a long way toward KNOWING THE TRUTH rather then relying on rumors started by haters.

Well good luck with getting in touch with the directors, they only seem to know people when they owe them money,
Would be more concerned with varsity teams. Didn't t hear one good thing . And you will all be up there one day. The tournaments were lame and they didn't even sign them up for all of the promised tournaments. At least the younger coaches almost all have good feedback no matter what team your on. You don t have to be on an A team to have a good team or coach. And you don t have to play lacrosse to be a good lacrosse coach. Some of the coaches that actually played suck at coaching. It's a new league and needed time to grow. Let's just hope they learned from last years mistakes!,,,,

I've emailed them with a few questions and I heard back pretty quickly! Not sure you're talking from experience or just have a need to pound your chest against them.
Excuse me...Your poor Havoc Dune Dawgs kids? Seriously? How do you know this is happening? Talk to either Tommy or Mike and really find out what's going on with that team. as far as I know tryouts haven't happened yet. If your kid has talent they will be on the A team...If not, well you could be B or C team. Get info from the real source.

It was tongue in cheek,,, just a little bit of sarcasm with humor.

Exactly...anybody who says that is surely a deadbeat, who was always late paying, and probably bitching about the very program that was carrying their kid for free!!!
Actually would be good to know what coaches are coaching what teams for Legacy in advance? Helps in the decision making process!

Definitely. Kids are trying out for empire and others, because of the unknown with the coaching staff, and merger...

Is that a statistical analysis, or just your opinion?

It's a fact
Here is a fact. I called up and was told who the coaches were for my sons age.

That's good for you. It's good to stick to facts. Nice job.
If that is true:Sounds a bit more logical to just post that info then have to field a buch of calls
Originally Posted by Anonymous

why would they not post it for everyone to see. Now people are wondering and making other arrangements. Bad business move.
Legacy has not even told the coaches who they are coaching yet. So much for good communication. They do not have their stuff together. Not good for business, people. If you call them or email them and ask who is coaching they have to give you an answer but all that is subject to change until things shake out. Options are healthy.
Look at it if it was your business. If they end up getting 30 kids for a 2024 team. A lot of great athletes but not best lax skills. They may want to use certain coaches as opposed to the other way good lax skills but not as athletic.
Good point, but other clubs have managed to line up coaches ahead of time so you know who your kid is getting. The coaching is an important part of the sell. Legacy has not reached out to the coaches to even confirm if they are coaching. That's a bit of a different issue.
