As a father and coach in this age bracket, do we really need to encourage anonymous discussion about 10/11 year old girls playing lacrosse?

We certainly welcome your becoming a registered user for your future contributions. Also note that this age group was a fairly active discussion last season although it was largely contained inside the club threads themselves. Many fifth grade programs are moving forward with travel lacrosse so the timing is right to launch this discussion. Thank you for your contribution.

2021 YJ team is loaded with talent, they were tough last year playing mostly 2020 teams and this year they will be primarily within their own age group.

Good teams do there talking on the field . They're 10 or 11 years old ; let them have fun and not make them a target for everyone's criticism the first time they lose a game. Unfortunately that's the way it goes on most of these threads. Good luck in the upcoming season!

Unfortunately the "best" LI programs will not play each other this summer season. The only tourney they both were attending this year is National Draw and the schedule was just released. Although they are in the same division, they do not play one another in pool play and cannot play against each other in the finals. Just looking for the best competition possible but it appears politics are in the way...
