With so many kids trying to play with both their HS and Club teams what do you do when their is a conflict? it could be different tournaments on the same weekend, same tournament with conflicting times or the worst of all, your HS team is scheduled to play against your travel team.
There's no wrong or right I don't think the boys should be condemned for picking their travel team. That's usually the better team and the one your probably paying more for. It's summer tournaments that are BS running times on small fields , let the kids have fun and wear the fancy uniforms. The school guys should back off and not threaten parents and kids.
School team is always first.
my experience is that most travel coaches will tell the kids to play for town or school team first, they get it!!! particularly if they have or had their own kid in the same boat.
