On Saturday February 25, 2012 at Smithtown East High School Kurt Burmeister, a youth coach for Smithtown Girls Lacrosse, Smithtown Kickers, and the President of Suffolk County Girls Lacrosse suffered a massive heart attack resulting in his final passing later that night at Stony Brook Hospital.
Since then we at Smithtown Girls Lacrosse have created a foundation in his name that will benefit his twin 10 year old daughters, his wife Susan, as well as creating scholarships for athletes at Smithtown East and West.
Would it be possible for you to post the attached article and flyer on Smithtown Patch remembering Kurt and announcing the Foundation fundraiser we will be holding at Ruvo Restaurant on May 10?
