Scrimmages for Wantagh in the next week figure with Hicksville and West Islip - that should form some interesting preseason results.
Parent at the field wrote to us saying that the Syosset/West Islip scrimmage draw was a strong effort for Syosset but West Islip seemed somewhat rusty - we will see how that plays out.
Garden City/St. Anthony's was either even or a one-goal affair depending on your source - either way, both teams played well in their kickoffs op the whole with St. Anthony's getting the better of the first half play and Garden City the second half. |
