What: Coaching instruction for Youth Lacrosse Coaches
Who: All Program directors and coaches involved with coaching youth lacrosse in our North Jersey league. ****Program representative will be handed coaching cards. The card is for all your coaches, one each. It is program directors certification that each coach on the sideline understands league rules and will adhere to the league’s code of conduct*** Attendance at this clinic satisfies that requirement for the coach. Failure to abide by the rules or code, or failure to present the card when asked, will result in that coach having to leave the sidelines.
When: Saturday, March 11, 2012 – 6pm-8:30pm
Instructors and speakers will be focused on helping youth coaches run practices and drills appropriate for their age levels.
Topics will include coaching offensive, defense, basic skills, goaltending skills, and faceoffs. Effective practice drills will be covered as well.
Part of the program will be dedicated to the new youth rules changes, concussion awareness, and we will touch on commotio cordis awareness.
Where : Randolph Indoor Sports Pavilion
Fee : Free for NJJLL program, $40 for non-NJJLL participants
