True or not these allegations are sickening but unfortunately outlines behavior that I think many of us, if we are completely honest, have seen elements of even within just the boys side of the house. Parents trying to influence coaches for playing time, systemic exclusion of certain kids etc. Our sport has become "uber" competitive among parents, clubs, schools etc. that drives some people toward unsavory behavior that pollutes the spirit of this great game. We can do better. |
