Let your kid play other sports. He may be (a little) behind the year rounders, but it will eventually make your son a better lax player and a more well rounded athlete. Don't give in to the pressure especially if they are not in HS yet. If they play 6-9 months out of the year and they are a great athlete they will be right with the year rounders in no time. Your kid just might look forward to playing as well.
