Agree 100%. By starting threads like these we are promoting the posturing, bragging, and even negative comments we have seen on other threads. Does it really matter who the best 7th grade team is? It can make for interesting comments but ultimately it will come down to "I'm better than you" nonsense. 7th grade lacrosse, town or select, should be about learning teamwork, respect, and hard work. Let them be kids and just play and improve - the ultra competitive years of the recruiting cycle are still a few years off. |
