Does anyone know or have in writing the PAL official rules for team split A/B/C or 'Even' ?(3rd-7th grade) Thanks in advance - Town Admin
In grades 2nd, 3rd and 4th the teams are to be split evenly.
As of 2 years ago, they allow you to have A and B teams in 5th and 6th grade if you enter the top team in the "A" division.
So what you and the PAL are saying is that the 'A' division is clearly the 'best' division where the top teams reside (implying the 'D' division is the developmental division. B and C follow accordingly. All grade divisions same breakdown) Wonder what the likes of GC, Mnhst and CSH, among others, are going to say on the even split when their multiple 2nd/3rd and 4th grade teams are going to have to register in the same division. And will have to play each other on more than a couple of occasions, since they are now, as you say..'even' and cant play in separate (skill based) divisions - interesting concept. Will the PAL come in and evaluate towns with multiple teams to guarantee even splits and proper division placement?? Apologize, just calling it as it looks
