Coppermine has been the best 2028 team in the country for some time. Well-coached, skilled, and disciplined team. No affiliation, but my DD's team has played them several times (along with the others in the top 5), and Coppermine has been the best. Check the records from the summer and fall tournament seasons. They play hard, but fair. Impressive group. New season, and I get the respect for M&D as defending champs, but Coppermine deserves the respect they have earned.
M&D is defending champs of what? They didn’t win the NGLL last year. EagleStix won.
Watching and playing all the top 5 teams I think EagleStix and Coppermine are interchangeable at 1/2. I suppose it will get settled this summer.
