My annual message to all, a bit later in the season then in the past, is to keep the comments lacrosse related and not malicious.
Some thoughts per division. D1, to me, is a two team horse race with Syracuse and Northwestern. Not that anyone can can knock off anyone else come tournament time (Purdue in men’s basketball and FDU) but I think those are the teams to beat.
D2 shows how far the sport has come geographically. So many teams from outside the “traditional” lacrosse areas. Great to see.
D3 dominated by the NESCAC once again. Nine teams in the IWLCA poll. As we know polls mean nothing come tournament time as regional ranking take precedent. As a conference they are by far the most competitive.
