The good remaining MadLax players did show up for NL tryouts yesterday. But keep in mind that many of their starters had already departed Madlax during the past year for DCE and VLC. The remaining players were the studs who don't come to practice and whose Dads are the big egos. MadLax 2026 has never been ranked higher than 20 nationally, even with the bump that all MadLax teams get in USL ranking, and last spring they stunk it up big time in HoCo. Next Level 2026 has never been a factor nationally, ranking in the 60-70 range, and last spring were not even in the top HoCo division. The cultures of the two teams could not be more different and they will get little or no practice time together before June tournaments begin. Yet some folks think this will be a top 5 national team?? I'm sure Coach CoachC is quaking in his boots right now.
