A few questions: 1.) Do MIAA coaches actually recruit? What grade do they start engaging players? Do you need to connect with coaches to let them know your daughter is interested in playing? Should we assume that a large percentage of everyone's rosters have been recruited to play there?
We are in the same situation. Some of the girls already attend the private middle schools...assume they would just transition to the high school. Not sure how they reach out to he public school girls.

Daughter is going through the process now from public school. Reach out to the schools / coaches she is interested in. Some of them had summer camps, others came out to watch games and some invited her over for workouts, etc. Now we just are waiting on admissions and to see if any money comes out of it all. Not college recruiting, but a bit stressful to say the least.
Did they contact you or the club coach expressing their interest? Also, do you know how many players (average) they try to recruit per 9th grade year? This could be a good prep for the college recruiting years. Thanks for your input as we enter the 7th grade Spring season.
