Heard MM through a fit with HOCO when it was suggested his 29 and 30 programs would move out of the Elite bracket. Despite both teams going 0-7 with goal differentials of 20/85 and 33/103, MM claims both programs are ELITE and threatened to pull all 91 teams if they were moved.
I'd love for this rumor to be true, and it's certainly on brand bc Millon pushes all the coaches to "get ready for elite" asap. But the 2028s never had so much as a winning season in AAA/AAAA until 2022 (where I think they went 4-3?). And while he has made coaching moves (and those coaches have made moves) to "push" that 2028 roster towards 2028 elite, Millon hasn't (that I've heard) freaked out on anybody about the 2028s in 4? years of subpar, very non-elite performance.
