Do the parents here complaining think that “locals getting pushed further down the bench are being mistreated simply because they are local?
Or is it situation where the out of state kids are not better then the local kids on the bench?
Or is it because the out of state kids are better than the kids on the bench - but you know play my kid because he’s been here since forever?
Primarily it's troll posts (primarily a John Carroll dad/coach) trying to convince parents that being a starter on MIAA-C schools is far superior experience - for every young man - to being a bench warmer at the big baltimore schools.
The funny part is that if JC captured another 4 high level PA/Cecil/Harford recruits per year that are currently going to LB, BL, CH, Gilman, then JC would decide to increase their roster size the same way. Can you imagine the athletic director's voicemail after the TV coverage of JC lax playing a state championship game with like 9 backups on the sideline including 2 bored goalies. Hello 60 man roster.
