It won't effect this age group, as they will move from age back to grade in HS from what I understand, but at least moving forward there will be some structure to youth club lacrosse and hopefully keep the sport moving forward.

I will say that if this is true this is a massive reality check for a lot of people.

The kids that have been hitting the wall will finally get rewarded for their hard work, the holdbacks will now have to hit the wall and get to work, the on age kids that didn't put in the work can no longer complain about the holdbacks, the coaches will now have to actually coach up their kids instead of just having the team with the oldest kids, the tournament directors will now have to be accountable for safety, etc. Its a win all around.

Even the reclasses will still be rewarded in HS when it matters for recruiting anyway.
