Thank you for saying this. The "every day" during the off season thing seems excessive and totally parent driven. My DD loves lax and is a good player on a good team but she does not like to go outside in the heat to play WB or shoot on the goal by herself. It gets old really fast. She'll go out and do it a few times a week, but certainly not every day. If we're forcing her at the age of 12, how sustainable is that and how long before she's burnt out? Ultimately, her commitment, passion, and success is up to her.
