Since everyone’s tryouts got moved up is anyone else seeing influx of new players attending practices?
At this point, do people really just show up to tryouts? Seems parents either should be reaching out to coaches or asking for a practice to guest play in.
Some do. However for top clubs, it is a waste of $$ unless you are ok with B team.
You need to remember that at tryouts, most teams will divide the girls into groups of 12-15 girls per station. These aren't random. All of the returning players, top prospects and top B team players are put into the top 2 or 3 groups. If you aren't in one of these groups, you won't get any real look from the coaches and will often be on a secondary field.
