School Girls is Ill timed for NY teams. Smack in the middle of HS playoffs. The strongest players have to be at practice and can’t risk injury.
Yet historically all the top players make and attend this event. Some may miss the practice or two that the schoolgirls team has, but do play in the tournament.
School girls is a thing of the past. Don’t waste your time.
I’d agree with this. The stronger players have too many other commitments to do this event and if they play for a strong Highschool program their coaches typically advise against them attending.
Yes, the LI tryouts were sparsely attended by top LI players. There were a few there, but not very many at all. I think they will have enough for one very good LI team, but definitely not 3! Being it’s on Memorial Day weekend, that stinks too! The NCAA championship live games will be there and it will be fun for the girls who go, to get to see the games. Not sure how much of a recruiting event it will be? No info. On what coaches will be attending.
