Can't blame program directors for creating product people want. That said, if your son/daughter really likes lacrosse than club just gives them more time on the field. I know there are a lot of parents on the B teams that do that in NOVA. Va has a pretty good rec program too. Nothing wrong with paying for more time, coaching etc. Also, if if the kids aren't as good their desire to be good shouldn't be ignored. Not to mention the fact that the DMV is a hotbed of the sport. Kids want to do what their friends are doing..... who cares. |
