Perhaps its the growth of lacrosse and club teams taking on marginal players who don't understand ball movement at the "older" level. That is what I am getting at....You have 5th through 7th graders and the best athlete on the field can still take it to the goal on any given possession. You start playing 8th through 11th grade....those days are over. Defenders and zone play will eat you up.
