Which is the team that Carey lost to with zero commits? Why all the detest on Carey ? Carey lost to GC in County Final and Beat Southside in 1/4 final. Southside has about 4-5 commits.

The detest comes from a comment back in the spring. Someone said Carey would take down GC because of the 5 D1 commits. Now people are throwing back at them.

Precisely, if you’re going to give out all that detest, write that it’s the end of an era for a successful program and there’s a new sheriff in town, you best back it up. Best team Carey has ever had, they completely underperformed.

Lack of depth was a problem. They did well considering what they had after D1 guys.

Same as every other year. Competitive team that will be perpetually middle of the pack. If they did well with 5 D-1 recruits, GC did an incredible job with zero.

Depth is what makes the top teams, at least in Suffolk, the top teams. From what I saw this season, the first lines of every team were competitive with each other. The second lines are what separated the top from the best of the middle of the pack. Without 2 solid lines of middie, you won’t win in Suffolk A.
