the only way these tryouts could ever possibly be fair or close to fair is if coaches from other regions picked the teams and even then , its questionable
If it is about putting the best regional team on the field doesn't reputation and past performance (no indicator of future returns) factor in to the tryouts? At this point in the game, from 22-24, you know who the top players are. Will the CT team be all Eclipse and PT kids? Probably but arent those the best kids around?
