If VLC only has kids born after Sept 1, 2007 then it should be competing in the World Series of Youth Lacrosse (WSYL) in 2021. The Finals will be held in Maryland July 1-3, 2021 so distance/expense not an issue. March 27-28 is the East qualifying games for DMV & PA regions. Those games are in Delaware.
