For those participating in fall tourneys with your HIGH SCHOOL team, what are you being charged per tournament for local ones such as NLI and Laxfest?
HS Coaches cashing in.... Big $$ to be made when collusion, coercion and extortion are employed and coaches are enabled by parents who are afraid to speak up due to fear of retribution against their son.
Lighten up Francis, it’s just a game. No one is forcing you or your son, just say no. Trust me, the scholarship isn’t that valuable. No free rides in lax.
Lighten up?? HS Coaches should not be making big profits on the backs of the players. Club is a different story. Some people struggle to pay for these events. I can see being compensated a couple hundred for the day, but when a coach is pulling in thousands, that's a problem. As far as saying no, it's a shame that a kid could be forced to say no because it's too expensive. Not just about scholarships, it's about building chemistry with your teammates.
