Don’t know the numbers but can think of 2 studs .... Kavanagh did a pg before NotreDame and Gutterding did a pg before Duke..
Obvious quality recruits.

Yes, both excellent players but gain an edge physically playing as seniors at age 22-23. This has been going on for decades not a new phenomenon also not against any rules .

Let's be real... the advantage is not gained at 22 physically - it's more academic maturity.
Probably not a huge physical difference between your 19yr old self and your 22yr old self.

Rather the really significant PHYSICAL advantage goes the the 15 yr old holdback playing against 13-14 year olds. Its more likely that the hold back has the advantage of puberty on his side while many 13-14 yr olds might be just starting to hit puberty.

I have to disagree with that. A 18 year old College freshman has a huge disadvantage in experience, and physical maturity over a 21 year old freshman.

ok to disagree...but I did not say experience nor did I say 18 - I said 19yr.

maybe I should have been more clear .... Probably not a huge physical difference between college soph and a college Junior/senior.

experience is another topic.
