Massapequa has the talent and the coaching. Radomski has been the head guy since 2010 and has won a lot more than he has lost. Any team that has Powers on the sideline as an assistant has a great coaching staff. He runs a tight ship and gets every ounce of talent out of his players. This years team is talented and the coaches at Massapequa will have them prepared. They may not have the fire power they once had but they have strong players at all positions. From the net on up to attack they dont have any real weakness. If they have one it may be the attack so scores may be more like 9-8 than the high scoring they were used to in the past.

Farmingdales Hungerford has taken the reins in a very confident manner from longtime coach Hartranft (who compiled 708 wins over 48 years) before retirement. Coach Hungerford was an assistant under Hartranft and shows alot of commitment to this program and gets them playing together year round. They will have this team ready to go. This may be a down year though. They are not as deep as they have been in the past and the loss of their goalie to a torn acl is a big one. The underclassmen here will make or break this team senior group not as strong as in the past. Goalie position may be their Achilles heel if their goalie does not return from the injury.

Syossets Calabria may not be everyones favorite but you cant argue with his results. He has won year in and year out for a long time. This may be a tough year doesnt have the depth he once had especially at attack. The loss of key attackman has opened the door for some of the seniors to step up. Some changes of position also will help. They dont have a true stud at faceoff this is big for this team. Need major contributions from the midfield and from the big man on attack. Possession may be their biggest Achilles heel.

Port and its coaching carousel has been a big issue. Every since Coach Case left they have gone through coaches like a hot knife through butter. The current coach Neil throws more temper tantrums on the sideline than a nursery school at nap time. Has a talented group with no standout studs but a good group of players. Will see major contributions from its 10th grade group at midfield. They will live and die by their faceoff and the attacks ability or inability to put the ball on net. Could this be their year to make the finals? Coaching will be a major Achilles heel for this team.
