The following portion of this report certainly caught our eye on the initial reading :

Strategic priority: Enhance the quality of the lacrosse experience for participants.

Associated goals:
1. Promote and preserve game integrity and player safety.
2. Promote a positive sports culture and climate.
3. Empower and mobilize parents to promote US Lacrosse standards.
4. Utilize the US Lacrosse Sports Science and Safety Committee as a key resource for improving safety and enjoyment of the game for players and fans.

BOTC's View : Certainly reviewing player safety would be a central issue on anyone's radar. However where is a more solid position on head protection for girls? Deeper contact regulations for boys?

As far as game integrity, what could be more important than guaranteeing age group compliance? What stance is US Lacrosse taking on finally crossing the player pass question? Nothing can possibly be more important to the integrity of the game than guaranteeing that the competition field actually matches the right aged-players with each other.
