NU style of play is not going to help grow the game.I realize they have no obligation to promote the sport and obviously their style is very effective but at some point the governing bodies of women's lacrosse need to adjust the rules to make the game more fan friendly so the sport will continue to grow.
Amonte and NU are largely responsible for the the growth and popularity the sport has seen in the last 7-8 years. SU and Maryland also employ the controlled pace and stall, but you have to be winning, win draw controls, GB's and actually have possesion to do it. Florida would likely be the National Champs right now if they learned how to control the game's pace.
