Huntington coach lost that game or lack of! Defense was pretty bad too. Sayville goalie was great! Huntington was not! Time for a coaching change. Ridiculous talent on that team. Actually not the case, yes they have a few talented goalies but only one can play at a time. Field wise not very deep at all, have 1 very talented kid , then 2 or 3 more solid players after that not much. Unfortunately for them other teams know who they have to stop . One very talented and the rest just solid? Come on man. You have over used your catch phrase ,do you think they have no very talented players or more than 1 . Have watched them play many times have 1 kid in top 20 for her age group on Long Island , other kids are good but not top on their age group let alone top when you combine all age groups. more than 1, lots of div one commits 4 D1 Commits and of the 4 I would say Ohio State and Stony Brook are the only real D1 programs...AMERICAN may be D1 but really any midddle line D2 school and top D3 school could beat them

Congrats to the Girls from Wantagh and Manhasset from the tiny Box scores in Newsday and lack of MSG Varsity coverage you wouldn't have know that Nassau Class B Semis were Yesterday for Girls lacrosse. Also heaven forbid they cover two Garden City Losses on the same day. There is no joy in Mudville.

This is a team last year they couldnt even get out of their own way and now suddenly they are a top D1 group of college commits team...get real PAL
Lots of talent with very little coaching. Mom is over her head.

In response to the Huntington post about the Real D1's at the school, what about the young lady going to Notre Dame?? Not a real D1? She is the best player on that team and brought them to the next level..........
Hauppauge spanks Northport ,, looks like its West Islip and Hauppauge for the Suffolk Championship. spanked is an understatement hauppauge dominated!!! Congrats girls you earned it Hats off to Carol Rose and Northport. They did it this season with smoke and mirrors and ended up a #3 seed. They beat Bay Shore (two words) on Monday when no one gave them a chance. They got beat by a better team tonight but she sure can coach! Good luck Hauppauge! Kiss up. How was that a great coaching job when you just got smoked.

West Islip 14-0-0 16-0-0 187.140 Hauppauge 11-3-0 12-3-0 150.710 Northport 10-4-0 10-6-0 150.000 Middle Country 10-4-0 11-5-0 144.990
Sachem East 9-5-0 10-5-0 139.280 Bay Shore 9-5-0 9-5-0 137.140 Smithtown West 10-4-0 11-5-0 135.900 West Babylon 8-6-0 10-6-0 128.570 Ward Melville 8-6-0 9-6-0 127.140 Smithtown East 9-5-0 11-5-0 124.480 Sachem North 9-5-0 9-7-0 115.190 Longwood 9-5-0 10-6-0 113.050
Heres how it happened Northport drops to 3 with loss to Sachm E Sachem E moves up to 5 with win Smith W drops to 7 for doing nothing Bayshore moves up to 6 for beating Ward Melville West Babylon drops to 8 loss to East Islip Ward Melville drops a spot with loss to Bayshore
Longwood at Sachem E Sachem N at Bay shore Smith East at Smith West Ward Melville at West Babylon This is a great bracket with some great match ups. Smithtown East vs Smithtown West--they played a great non-league game at the end of the season. Ward Melville vs West Babylon--A great 8-9 matchup Sachem North vs Bay Shore--Bay Shore has their mojo back, it seems, but Sachem North can score. Also, if Sachem North can pull off the upset, the next round game is YJ protege vs YJ Queen. my vote is for a Sachem North win!! YJ protege is doing a great job developing what was a weak program even if it's just the win against Bay Shore she deserves it!! YJ protege lol, beats up on weak teams and gets out coached by the other teams weather its YJ or Sachem the results are the same. Whover keeps coming on here trying to "make" the "YJ protege" happen, stop. All you're doing is putting a target on her back. Cream rises to the top whether it's promoted or not. If this kid is as good as you say, then it will become obvious to us all. Until then, give it a rest. Secondly, no one player makes a team. Witness the Islip sisters. They can score like crazy but they couldn't carry their team to playoffs. NO ONE CAN. Silly the protege reference is to the coach of Sachem her mentor is coaching Northport. The results were the same for both in the playoffs.

Would not put her on the same page on playing field with any of the Huntington High School girls

I was at the game and it will be remembered forever as a great game. The shot was awesome and when the net was hit, there was :00.1 still on the clock. You won't hear any sour grapes from us. Both teams absolutely gave it everything they had and left it all on the field! Congratulations to all the girls on West Islip!
Middle Country Girls lax would like to wish both teams the best of luck in the Finals.

Have to say the Coverage of both the Nassau,Suffolk Girls and CHSAA Playoffs yesterday was clearly lacking but they were sure to cover Two Nassau Boys Teams
